Admittedly I am not an expert in mixing audio but I really appreciate the feedback! If I go back and make revisions to this motion graphic, fixing the audio will be my priority!

Awesome video! It's important to understand other people's emotions, plain logic doesn't always get the job done when you're dealing with people.

Emotional intelligence. Emotion's is the expression of feelings; present and past, an abstract expressed. Intelligence, is the deciphering of the appropriateness of the circumstances.

Thank you for this excellent resource. I love this visual description of Emotional Intelligence and have used it in my college communication classes on several occasions.. However, I found the background music to be more distracting then helpful. From reading the comments, I am not the only one. Is there any way you could separate the background music and either simply remove or add something more neutral?

Emotional intelligence helps you build stronger relationships, succeed at school and work, and achieve your career and personal goals. It can also help you to connect with your feelings, turn intention into action, and make informed decisions about what matters most to you.

2:25 I am extremely reflective and analytical. In fact, that practically defines me. I'm also quite neurotic and anxious. I have a few odd and pointless repetitive behaviours (that luckily I can stop when I'm paying attention to them without much effort) and I can't stand when people watch me study, have the same name as me, or get confused about something I say (which happens a lot because I'm socially inept). I cannot stop thinking, dammit.

my EQ is 62 which is considered below average, average being 75-100. I also found it worth noting that my IQ is above average 130-140, I read somewhere that there was a correlation between High IQ's, lower than average EQ's, might explain why I'm not so good at socialization.

Generally projects like this involve a lot of research and consultation with academics in the field. Many people have different opinions on what emotional intelligence is so the hardest part of this project was trying to nail down all the core elements and structuring it in a way that makes sense. Hope that answers your question :)

Having a high eq is helpful however that doesn’t say make iq any more less, iq and eq are like your food and water you need them both.

The music and the stupid sound effects are in the way of the narrative. Not well edited video sound-wise. Shouldn't the voice be the most important thing to hear? Just sayin'.

It's a good thing this is listed under comedy, because if it was science instead of a fad disguised as a science it would show a correlation for speed in processing math, abstract ideas, you know Intelligence, does the ability to read another's emotions prove this? data please? How about feeling Intelligence? It's Woo woo for those circumventing IQ.

To BΔᴆ MєᴆÎÇÎNє : I do not reply to many comments. However, to your comment I will...and, if you are trolling, consider me hooked. My reply to your comment: If you want data...look into the multitude of research studies which have concluded that higher IQ s are not solid indicators for success in any industry...and, the higher up the corporate ladder one goes, the lower the IQ and the higher the EI: emotional intelligence. Which also means, by your comment...Which I vehemently disagree: most heads of industry are flim flam artist because their success is built on EI rather than IQ...in fact, studies also show that the higher your IQ the higher chance your rung on the corporate ladder will be on the lower part. I would envite you to consider the real world value of EI. Thank you in advance for your emotional intelligence used in your reply to my comment.
