I love 'I drive your truck' so much, I see a different meaning to the song myself. It's just doing something that reminds you or connects you was that person that's passed away. Whether that's driving their truck or watching a movie you used to watch together or having a beer that they liked on the anniversary of there death. What ever it may be, just an amazing song x

Ty Hun but, Please don't question why you came home. I thank God that you and all the other soldiers that did come home, are here. God has a plan for you and you may never know what that plan is. I trust his plan even with my boy. I miss him and that causes such pain I can't breath, but I feel at peace knowing he will never feel pain, sadness, worry etc. That peace is greater then any pain I feel right now. Thank you for your kind words but you are right where you are supposed to be. God BLess you.

I lost my son when he was hit by a drunk driver. I inherited his truck and have done what I could to keep it running. It's parked right now because the clutch went out. I've had some offers for it, but they just aren't worth it to me. This truck will go with me wherever I go, even if I have to tow it.

I've loved the song I drive your truck since the first time I heard it. This Tues April 3 2018 it became extremely personal to me because my 67 year old father passed away leaving his truck to me. He was a Vietnam veteran loving husband father and Grandpa. Although he left us way to soon he had a full life with no regrets. I drive your truck (Dad) in loving memory of John R Sartain. 12/8/1950-4/3/2018. In my ❤forever and always

jorange147 Thank you for your service! I'm glad you made it home. I hope and pray that you are okay and if not you are getting the medial services that you earned to help you! Again, THANK YOU FOR YOU SERVICE and GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE SACRIFICING EVERYTHING whether they make it back or not! I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you, including your family and friends, and the other family-the men and women who served or serve with you, and the all of the branches of our military and other countries who also served with you! You are the reason I'm able to sit here and type this message to you! May God Bless You and Your family, and MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA! Again, Thank You for you service and sacrifices you have made for me and all of America! SHAME ON YOU to those who Disrespect our Military! If you don't appreciate your FREEDOM they are fighting for and SACRIFICING FOR > YOU, Me and all of America, not to mention other countries, then maybe you should move to another country that is fighting against our freedoms, and see how you like that! They are the reason DISRESPECTFUL> YOU and others like you are able to be so atrocious to them and that you have the freedom to type and submit such ATROCIOUS comments when you hide behind your computer screen. I wonder if you make these comments in public and/or to our SOLDIERS I'm sure you see in public or do you just hide behind your computer screen? My guess is you don't say a word to them! May God Bless You and Your Family and the Freedom you have been given through the lives and sacrifices of our Soldiers! Think about that! Thank you again jorange147 for your service and sacrifices you made to protect the freedoms we have in AMERICA! May God Bless You and your families.

People really never stop to think about the high price of freedom -- and it's not just soldiers - we lose countless unnamed men and women remembered only by a star on a wall - not even their families know their silent sacrifice - agents who gather information that helps keep our troops safe -- and as we know from the Fitzgerald, that loss is not always at gunpoint or bombs or IEDs - but it is still in service of this country. Thank you to those men and women and to the families who support and often lose them.
