So he's been raping her regularly because she looks like his deceased wife (because they're sisters) so she takes a contraceptive concoction, to make sure she doesn't get pregnant, that is making her deathly ill and she doesn't say anything or do anything to make herself better because she wants to die so he's free from her appearance 'haunting him' and making him unhappy? And this is a couple we're supposed to be rooting for?! I mean you can say they're supposed to representative of the time that the show is set, but damn that's all kinds of disturbing and disgusting.

This is a very complex relationship but she is not constantly being raped as it suggests. He goes there every night as "punishment" because she is alive and looks like his love but isn't her. She is willing to comply as she likes him and wants to comfort him but he is forcing her to drink a contraceptive decoction after every time and it is making her ill and almost kills her and she is hiding it. He loved her twin sister and can't deal with the fact she is her identical twin that the father sent to replace his dead Empress that he loved with every fiber in his body. He is repelled at first because she looks like his beloved but they slowly come to love each other.its not a cut and dried situation

А мне очень понравилась эта дорама! Актёры хорошо играют, красивые костюмы, грим, украшения на героинях. Сама история тоже смотрится с интересом. Конец относительно хороший.
