Met Chocolate while touring the RCR museum back in the mid-2000's. He stopped to chat with us like we were old friends. Such a great guy and an awesome story-teller.

Chocolate is one of the best guys ever, he set the standard for the modern gas man. Anytime you go to the RCR museum he is there and will talk to you like your old friends. Can’t say enough about what he has done for RCR over the years.

One of my greatest memories of NASCAR is seeing Dale win at Pocono. Me and a friend were in the tower right behind the winners picture stand area . Loved watching you all celebrate that win changing hats and having fun.....Was one of many great days watching Dale and crew including Chocolate win races......

Thank you Chocolate for taking care of our fave Dale Earnhardt Sr. The Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss Dale, his fans forever. I too wish to meet you but I lost my soulmate Jerry in 2018 and without him I gave up traveling out of state. God bless you for we love and loved Dale dearly.

I worked at Daytona, Darlington, and Talladega NASCAR tracks 1996-2006 as part of the security/safety teams. Over the years, I got to know Danny fairly well and it was an honor getting to know him.

A good memory of Chocolate Myers was when Harvick won his first Cup race in Atlanta, which was three weeks after Earnhardt's passing. He got so emotional and with tears streaming down his face, I wound up getting emotional.

When my son graduated high school a couple of years ago, for his graduation gift he wanted to go to North Carolina to see the race car shops. We went by JR motor sports and DEI, then we went to RCR the next day. We couldn’t believe what all we got to see! It was absolutely incredible! I had made my hero my kids hero and the museum was just amazing! To see all of Dale’s cars and the shop just like it was was mind blowing! In my opinion the Richard Childress Racing museum is the best one I’ve ever been to! It is a bucket list place to visit for sure!

I went there and khi in 2010, and the fall martinsville race. Drive down from. Nova Scotia Canada. No money to speak of. Just scraped by. Had to see my hero's. Or at least their shrines. Wish I could have spent more time. Incredible trip

I wonder how nervous was the guy who replaced Chocolate as the gas man was. Those are same damn big boots to fill!!!🏁 Got to meet him on several occasions in one day on Dale's Birthday in 2004 when we got married at the statue in Kannapolis. Everywhere we went we ran into him and he always waved back!😁 We love you man!!!

Got to meet Dale when he donated " Winston " his bull to Boy s and Girl s Home in Lake Waccamaw and Dale sent pit passes to us for the Southern 500. Was a blast meeting Choclate and the others and watching the race from Dale s pit before speed limits were implamented on pit road. Thank you, Richard.and all of RCR for a great time and the wonderful memories. Oh yea , Dale won the race.

People like Chocolate is what made NASCAR- he's just a fella who loved, lived and there's not a doubt in my mind would've died for his Brother and friend- When the accident happened,I knew almost immediately it was worse than bad- not something in my gut or none of that horseshit- it was Ken's reaction when he looked into the car- I thought about the unusual position Dale would sit in the car- damnit, man....

I love auto racing I really do sometime's I have to really get into to love it on television when there's nothing else to do.. It's about the boredom a individual goes through in their lives and it's the style of the racecar from the year's of when you've seen it on television and the sponsorship color's too like the goodwrench brand and reo brand and the miller genuine draft 2 Pontiac gran prix and maybe a crummy ford thunderbird in black
