... i was recently reminded of an experience that might sound silly at first... ... so i am sharing the following idea of meditating with a plant, perhaps an Easter plant... or any plant... again... this might sound silly at first... and... just very calmly notice any thoughts... and whenever a "thought" appears in the stream of thoughts... be still.... and notice the thought... Look *gently* at the thought... notice the message it delivered.... and then just let it go... like a cloud floating by in the sky.... like releasing a "thought balloon"... like watching a leaf floating by in a river... Without judging the "thought"... and without going down that rabbit hole, so to speak... and this "pathway" will become a practice with all thoughts... for a while.... this method will bring you into a quiet, gentle, space... ...a clearing ... somewhat like Rumi describes: ..::" Beyond our ideas of right-doing and wrong-doing, there is a field.
