A surreal look at an empty Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Because of COVID-19, the usual tourist crowds are gone, leaving behind views of Gatlinburg with no people.

Picked up my paycheck 2 weeks ago from my job in downtown Gatlinburg. There were people then. Do sad. Looking forward to seeing the streets filled when this is over and meeting people from the USA and the world.

We're all just holding our breath waiting to see if Gatlinburg will be reopened in time for our yearly nail tech convention in July. It's so surreal to see the Burg with no people nor vehicles as if they just vanished into thin air. This is something I hope to never see again in my lifetime.

Lately on SportsCenter I've been watching a lot of sports oldies on greatest moments in sports and they show all sports basketball, football, hockey ,baseball but if you want to see something that's really truly great like you seen in this video of Tennessee just think of what God can do,but to the whole world in the flick of wrist, that something that's truly amazing !people we need to start putting things in perspective on what's really important to us and that would be in my opinion treating people as equals not just in your town or city but across the world and maybe if we get out of this be a lesson learned!!!! God bless

I’ve been to Gatlinburg, along with Pigeon Forge, and have put up with friendly people walking and looking and shopping and eating. One can only hope that the Coronavirus will be over with soon and the Smokies can get back to a more normal time and place. I want to hope that the people can get their jobs back and get back to normal. Hopefully soon!

I had the same idea and was up there flying yesterday and a police officer approached me to tell me there was a city ordinance that you can’t be at a stay in place. Lucky you didn’t get caught. When were you there? It’s was so sad driving up to Pigeon Forge with all the stores closed and Gatlinburg which is normally packed like Disney world every day with practically no one on the streets or driving in cars.

Mary Cornett All you have to do to be a saved Christian is ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. Just say that out loud or in your head it doesn’t matter. It’s that simple! We’re watching the death of businesses all over America. The hardest hit will be vacation destinations. Whose sole income is based on certain seasons of the year.
