for more than 4 years now iam addicted to videos of all sorts of cnc machines. I moved on to call these videos: CNC Porn. Iam a professional woodworker and i only dabbled a little into cnc machines before. for 4 month now iam a proud owner of comparably small cnc router - i have never been more happy in my life. Still i can't let go of watching the CNC-Porn on youtube.

Agree. With advent of electric cars and bikes a big percentage of machining activity will vanish. No IC engine , no cylinder blocks / heads / crank / cam/ con rod . No casting ,forgings of these . Will affect all economies dependent on this .Plus no cutting oil, engine oil ,lubricants. Electric vehicles have very less moving parts , less wear tear , less need of car service workshops .

This performance is only possible in soft steel. I`ve been trying several tools from EMUGE FRANKEN in 1.2311 steel and anything higher than F 0.5m minute would shatter and destroy the tool. Every milling parameters were put in the machine by the representatives guidance and programing right before me. The best tools I`ve ever worked are Hitachi. Incredible performance and durability as for measure liability. I work in mold manufacturing.

nilshasser AlZnMgCu1,5 is Aluminium Zinc Magnesium and Copper so it is an Aluminium mixed with Zinc Magnesium and Copper it is relatively Hard for Aluminium ;)

When compared with similar tools from other brands, yes, they`re more expensive, however, it`s my believe that the price difference is overcome by their performance and endurance.

Als ehemaliger Feinmechaniker zu einer Zeit, als die Automatik sich auf den Vorschub und mech. Anschläge beschränkte, bin ich immer wieder überrascht von Geschwindigkeit und Akkuratesse der CNC`s, auch wenn´s Alu ist. Der Begriff meines "Vorschreibers" Matzo man "CNC-Porn" kann ich nachvollziehen. Lässt sich eigentlich absehen, wenn man sagen kann: Es geht nicht besser ? Mir scheint, die C30 ist kaum noch zu verbessern...

Yes they used a torque multiplier for some of the threading. It was necessary due to the lack of low-end torque in the high-speed spindle.

No, this is not a torque multiplier but the opposite, as the spindle has too high inertia to accelerate to the required speed and decelerate again for the small diameters. Therefore the speed is multiplied to achieve the cutting speeds for the taps.

Was the last operation corner chamferring? If so why not use a countersink? All those complex moves that the table does would be avoided.

Emigre make really good threading taps and tips but for profiling pay the bit extra and buy paul horn nothing wrong with emuge by nome and but if your making a high end product it's worth going with paul horn

+TheHrdKoRe die Fase sieht geil aus aber rentabel ist das ja wohl nicht. Normaler Fasenfraeser macht das in einem Bruchteil der Zeit. Der Rest war krass. Allerdings ist es ja auch total easy Alu.

Best tool is ns tool for whatever apllications, emuge is great but not as good as ns, specially for steels above 62 hrc, besides they have very poor quality dealers in my country, they wont even bother to quote you

not sure what kinda motor is a V-2 with no piston offset for the sake of the crankshaft and let alone the wall thickness for the pistons is insane in terms of horse power that thing can handle before failure bet its a 15 - 50BHP motor this has to be a go cart motor no? or something thats weak in power ?
