Interessant mal zu sehen, was heute mit Zerspanungstechnik alles möglich ist. Aber ein Nussknacker aus dem Erzgebirge ist nur echt aus Holz. 🤔

This is an example when a video producer thinks he's an engineer. Engineers deal in facts, not feel good music videos. More details, please.

Das ist kein guter Beruf viel Arbeit wenig Geld ,Schichten , schlechte Bezahlung , Streß ,viel Chemie ,40h Woche , wenig Urlaub ,Altersarmut usw . !

Was the last operation corner chamferring? If so why not use a countersink? All those complex moves that the table does would be avoided.
@StarWarsUnited1238 ай бұрын
I agree. It really seems unnecessary in that example. Like the geometry wasn't that complex.

Is that much vertical load on the spindle good for machines? I feel like rotating workpiece like that can only spell bad news for the spindle.

Main use is in automotive etc industry where seconds count. The other is that the machine controllers need updates to be able to these, I believe Siemens was one of the first to adapt this technology in their controllers.
@kuei123 жыл бұрын
I can only see this being used in specialized applications where thread strength does not matter. I cannot think of a single customer that we have that would allow a tapped hole with 2 helical slots running down the thread walls. If thread strength does not matter, why not just have a shorter thread depth? Also, programming this would be ugly. I think I will wait for the 5th generation tapping.
@JaakkoF3 жыл бұрын
Programming this is easy: Select the pitch, depth and hit go. Your machine controller needs to understand this sort of operation, so if it doesn't, make a macro program that you can input the depth and pitch and it does everything by the numbers. No need to program multiple times.
