Don't buy!! Maybe too late. All these reviewers are sure blind or shitty or ads to not cover this dealbreaker. Don't even tell me it's not noticeable, it is fuking noticeable. Stopped me from buying the 13 OLED flip one month ago Went for ips lg gram 14 2 in 1 and couldn't be happier

I bought this laptop today just for the amazing screen. But it turns out the screen is not so amazing. It appears like there is a filter or some protector on it with diamond shape patterns, very noticeable on white backgrounds. It is actually the screen itself and it disturbs me a lot. I never saw this on a screen before. Can someone tell me what I am seeing and if this is normal?

Yes all OLED touch displays have this issue as of now.

@@Hritikmaster but Why does the tab s8 ultra and other oled smartphones don’t have this issue. All of them are oled and touch as well…

@@Hritikmaster thanks for the information I returned this device I bought an Vivobook pro oled. Super display with no patterns on it. I miss the tablet mode but I can’t have all I guess

It's so worst but all these reviewers are sure blind if they don't mention this dealbreaker. Hundreds of videos on KZfaq and none of them mention this lousy digitizer nets. Directly lose credit once they don't mention this for a review

@@victor_prast thanks for the reply.. Actually all the OLED touch laptops have this issue. I am amazed that none of the tech reviewer has actually covered on this. It's like they are deliberately ignoring it.

What is this screen door efect and how does efect the laptop? I m researching for this laptop to buy it but your comment made me second thoughts, could you explain more to me? Thanks

@@flavius2193 Screen door effect is mesh like texture over the screen. It's present on almost all OLED touch panels irrespective of the company. It's very noticeable when displaying white color. I finalized the above Laptop then checked it out at a nearby shop and the screen door issue was very noticeable. Which was a deal breaker for me. It completely ruins the otherwise awesome OLED panel. So i went with vivobook 15 pro , which has OLED screen but no touch. If possible you should also go to a nearby store and check it out yourself. I also saw other OLED touch panel like that of zenbook 14 space edition. It also had the same issue but it was alot less noticeable than flip 14. It's a shame that almost no tech youtuber has provided any info on it.

Did anyone notice the screen shaking while he is typing in this video? Is that a common thing for convertibles? And could it be distracting?

That is only if it’s at an angle. I think it comes with the thin screen. As long as you’re not pushing the screen too hard it should not be a problem

@@kav4v thanks for reply. I actually purchased the laptop later and haven't experienced this issue. Only regret i have is that i bought the Intel version which has the worst battery. Should have purchased the AMD version. :\

AAAAHHHHHH!!!! ASUS made a big mistake with the keyboard layout on this AMD Ryzen 6800H/6900H variant of the Zenboom 14 OLED. They should have kept the same keyboard layout as the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED INTEL 13th-gen variant. The "DEL" key should be the last key on the far top right corner. The power button should be on the side of the laptop or on top of the keyboard deck where it can be pressed when in tablet mode. I hate when manufacturers (Dell) puts the power button where it don't belong.
