Sig Hansens parents are norwegians, they emigrated to USA in early 1960's like many others from Karmøy. The video is shot by NRK while Sig visited their hometown Aakrehamn.

As a Norwegian it's really strange how he switches to fluent Norwegian with a very rural accent back to English with a perfect american accent in the middle of a sentence Keeps throwing me off.

It's funny to hear Sig Speaking Norwegian Because he is on a American show speaking American English for so many years But you have to remember His mother and father spoke Norwegian at home I traced my family tree back....waaaaaaaaaay back Canada for 200+ years And mixed the Native peoples........Before that France And part of the Fight along side King William 1st Norman King of England Which Then turns to "Norman" The north people Which come to France and Attacked Paris And failed to capture it And settled many years later In the Normandy areas ......My blood traces back to Norway And i know so little about it
