I am a first year student at thapar in the ENC branch, I already know a bit of Python from what I have learned in class 11 and 12. Will I be taught a programming language in college or should I continue studying Python on my own( if so, from which source would you recommend)

Bhai i've greattt interest in field of mechanical and i am local in patiala... Thapar is hardly 10 mins away from my house i was just planning to take mechanical here... Is it good or any other suggestions?

See mechanical is a good branch. Thapar is known for it's mechanical. If that's what you want and if you have the money then go with it. Also if you can upgrade then it would be great :)

If you have the money and can upgrade then go with thapar else if you want computers then go with manipal. Because eec is a new branch which was introduced last year only. Hope it helps :)

Cse is a new branch whereas coe is an older one. As of know there is no placement for cse but the average package for coe is 10-12 lpa. Hope it helps :)

see go with electrical if you want to go towards the government sector but if you want to go towards computers too then go with eec. And yes eec is a new branch but it's a decision you would have to take. Hope it helps :)

We had slides and till now I have bought only 2 books that too for programming. There are slides provided by professors. And for subjects you can search online or webkiosk. Hope it helps:)

See electrical is the hardest branch so if you wanna go towards higher studies or government sector then go with it. And yes you can upgrade using either December test or after first year on the basis of cg. Hope it helps :)

There are slides provided by the professors and rest pdfs of the books are available. Rest if want the books you can get them from the library. There is no need to buy them :)

bhaiya 3 question ka answer chahiya tha 1. jee ka basis paar branch allocation kabh hoghi (estimated date) 2. kya in person counselling ka hone ka chances hai aur kabh (estimated date) 3.in person counselling mai voh pcm ka scores refer karta hai branch allocation ka liya ??

PCM counseling toh kabka nikal chuka, in-person counseling possible if seats are left vacant, And jee counseling not yet announced, but it will in the future

@@Shree_Gupta So the thing is it is the most difficult branch in engineering. The teachers are nice but my recommendation would be if you get thapar then try to upgrade :)

i got enc with 95 percentage pcm but cutoff for coe is 95.33 (Matter of 1 mark) so will i be able to get it in spot round as people are saying that spot round is only on basis of jee so pls pls pls confirm is there a chance or not

That's what my friend had to say Dekh afai can say. It a quite interesting branch, multidisciplinary hai with mech/electronic/cs. And recently is a syllabus bhi revamp hua hai As for the job application r&d mein iski ho skti hai Govt ho jaye like drdo to baat hi kuch aur But still ye abhi mechanical dept. Ke under aati hai And India mein quite less renowned hai. Even I am interested for mechatronics and hope to pursue it in MS

Bhai classes na attend kar toh free hi free hai :) btw classes daily are for 6-7 hours depending on your subsection too

It's a nice branch. Electronics focused towards communication. Average package 8-10 lpa. Teachers are nice.

Hostel expenses, mess, and travel expenses. So it comes close to 18-20 LPA :)

Bhai fees 15,96,000 ha 4 saal ki is time pe aur books and other expenses milla julla ke 20 tak pahunch jata hai

The average package of coe is 10-12 lpa whereas for enc is 8-10 lpa. For cse there is no placements yet because it was introduced few time back only :)

If you want biomedical then it's great order just after computers change the order enc>ece>eec>eic
