my neighbour is in patiala Thapar from past 2 years when I talked to him about joining Thapar he told there is massive addiction problem their and many people are high in the campus .. you understand what I mean to say I dont want to face any consequences 🌿🌿🚬🚬

my cousin was in thapar patiala, he is currently doing his masters in USA. he says, there is no drug culture inside campus. no one forces you unless you a mama's duckling who is desperate to get in shit, i mean to say it is everywhere if you see it, no where if not.

there is a huge competition in placements because all the students from derabassi campus also come in the 3rd and 4th year.. rather go for cse in vit or cse/ece in any nit with fees way more less than thapar

Bro tution fees is aroung 24 lakhs for cse and mess and hostel be around 1.5 lakhs per annum to ye to ho gya 30 lakhs. Aur bhi kharche hote h total kuch 35 lakhs jayega💀

Go for VIT.. because in CSBS(business systems) most of the subjects are different (you can search for the pdf in google) and only companies like TCS are the recuiters here

@@dhruvrajput903 no don't.. i had the same doubt few days back but yesterday my parents visited the patiala campus and asked the people there maximum of them said that it has alot of hardware related thing and negligible software unlike CSE.. and if you are interested in coding dont go for COE because you wont even get time to pure coding side by side.. it is even more hectic than ECE in thapar.. go for ece instead

@@dhruvrajput903 Hi bro, I am almost in a similar situation. I have been alloted electrical and computer engineering. But I think in further rounds of counseling I can get electronics and computer engineering, or even Coe. I also saw the syllabus and it's almost same for cse and Coe. I don't know why people say Coe is related to hardware. But one con is that Coe has 960 seats which is the most. My 1st preference is electronics and computer if I get it, I will definitely join. What about you? One more problem about which I am a little worried is that Thapar's reputation is decreasing since some years, I am not sure if it's completely true or not but I have heard that. I hope placements in 2024 go good.

cse in derabassi is possible after the first two years you will go the the patiala campus only.. and the even better option is dual degree in VIT .. its 5 years fees is half the 4 years fees of thapar

lol don't fall for it. All these colleges are big no. Better avoid punjab and Haryana for higher studies. CSE 100% placements hogte hain, 3/4 to offer hota hi hai. This is not even good records. Seems he is a paid youtuber....never mind. use ur money wisely guys and yes ppl from other branch don't even think about thapar or random colleges. Most of the colleges will tell u their percentage and highest salary but none will tell u the minimum and secondly, other branches have very very poor placements

o don't.. i had the same doubt few days back but yesterday my parents visited the patiala campus and asked the people there maximum of them said that it has alot of hardware related thing and negligible software unlike CSE.. and if you are interested in coding dont go for COE because you wont even get time to pure coding side by side.. it is even more hectic than ECE in thapar.. go for ece instead
