Thanks for checking out Episode 2 of the trailer build! I've got a lot in store for this trailer so stay tuned! I'm super happy with how the floor turned out. The finish is awesome. It looks great and has tons of grip. We will have to wait and see how it holds up in the long run!

I did the same with my trailer . Used the same paint also lol. I used white paint for the upper half of the walls to help with lighting. Made a huge difference for me as I only have 2 small lights . 3 years and still holding up well. I can’t fit the commander in the trailer now since I installed a lift and bigger tires. I have a choice to make. Custom fab work on the trailer or sell and buy a taller trailer. The trailer was originally bought for hauling my mountain sleds . I have since gotten out of that and directed my hobbies to atv/UTV. Your trailer is looking good. Will be nice to see the finished product.

Are you planning on insulating the roof oh you could use that space behind the toolbox to stack the batteries and mount the inverter This way they’re outta sight yet easy to get to

Sweet Set up ! Your smart to take your time pulling it safe . I’ve seen where people have got in trouble pulling trailers to fast. I’m thinking you should put your logo’s down the sides of your trailer in Huge Letters . Thank you for sharing your videos!👊🏻👍🏻!!

Thanks! Ya, I've seen some bad situations too. Can't have fun riding if you don't make it to the trails. I'm thinking of wrapping the trailer. I will be doing a new wrap on the RZR so I figured it would be a good time to do the trailer.

@@blackfly53 ya…. It’s kind of difficult to get around that when I run the channel. So many people see it. If someone wants to take something bad enough I feel they will regardless of the precautions you take. Everything I have is insured but I hope I never need to use it.

How is the floor holding up now that you’ve been using it for a few months? I’m debating doing what you’ve done or using the vinyl G-flooring.

Thanks man! Glad you like it. The GPS I hated was the Garmin Overlander. It’s the big one I had at Dacre. I suggest the Montana or the Tread series.

How’s the floor holding up? I have a new trailer I just got and I’m trying to decide what to do to my floor,I will be hauling a CanAm XMR .

What do you plan on using for insulation in the ceiling I went to Lowe’s and bought that insulation board. Cut it to fit between each section then I glued it to the ceiling.

Hey Greg, I was thinking of using foam insulation too and also cutting it to fit and then covering it with some thin wood sheeting. I'll likely put it off until spring though. I'll be using the trailer all winter so I'll see how it does. If it's really not holding any heat I'll consider doing the ceiling. I don't plan on sleeping in it over the winter months so I don't really care if it's not super warm. My goal with the setup will be to have a dry sheltered place to hide. With the doors closed and the heat on high my goal is to be able to keep the temps comfortable enough that you can unzip a jacket but t-shirt weather is not my goal, lol.

wood saver deck paint is tough n has grip

I put down G-Floor® Levant™ Universal and Garage Flooring. It has been very durable for the past 3 years, and pools up water and mud to be easily cleaned up when back at home base. I installed it so it rolls up 3 inches around the front and side walls. Cut an "X" over the top of each tie down in the floor so the rings can be pulled up or tucked under as needed. I highly recommend it. Just roll it out and trim it to size. One roll can be purchased to cover the whole trailer floor.

I used "Rust-Oleum truck bed professional grade bed kit". Rhino lining!!!! Comes in a box. It is the only rhino lining that is compatible with wood. I used on my floor on 7x16 victory enclosed and love it. 2yrs now and is holding up great like the day I put it down. But your floor looks great love your channel and man that Dacre Rally , way to go Julian. Just an FYI if anyone goes this route , I highly recommend, it took 2 kits ( boxes - it's not in a can ) each box kit is roughly 140.00

Curious why you went with the 7ft wide? I have one too and wish I had gotten an 8ft wide. Not a whole lot of room to get around inside with 6+1 aftermarket wheels and extended flares without climbing over the tires on my XP41K.

Ya, you are right. I weighed out a lot of options. When this deal came around it was hard to pass up. I would have loved an 8.5 wide model, they make one just like this in that width. It was about $7000 more. It would of been much larger and heavier and I didn't want to get a different truck to tow with. In the end I decided this was a good compromise. I don't plan on going with a crazy offset wheel so I have enough space to get around in this thing. Maybe in a few years I can upgrade but for now I'm really happy. It's a huge upgrade for me. If I had the truck to tow it and the budget I'd love a 26X8X8.5 car hauler.

Curious as to why you didn't make the work bench the full triangle in the front. I had a similar trailer for moto and made the bench the whole area. Never enough bench space!

In hind sight maybe I should of added a few inches. It’s enough space and fits nicely with everything that’s in there right now. You’ll see in the future episodes.

Hahahaha, I sold my drift car unfortunately. Not enough time or budget for everything. That silver E46 is the last BMW I have, I need to sell it too. It's only got 180,000km on it! It's gonna be sad to see it go.

Really good. Way better then I had expected. No damage on the floor and loads of grip. The paint has done a really good job locking in the abrasive grit and it isn't coming off. I'm very satisfied with it. I'd do it again.
