The Snake by Parallel Limited is a WKL O-Ring mount keyboard with a visually stunning weight. It is meticulously crafted to have curves at every angle and the overall looks are fantastic! This custom mechanical keyboard is expensive, but with all of the milling and the custom weight, the price to me is somewhat justified.
The sound and feel of the board are top-notch. IF this is in your budget, and you are into the layout, definitely give this keyboard a look!

Your B-roll is always fantastic. I'm on the fence for springing with this one. I have the Sangeo60, and while I'm not into 60s per se, it seems like when/if they do upgrade these boards the conversion of the perfect balance they get in the OG form factor is hard to maintain. Honestly, the snake is doing it for me. This might have to be my second alu-case 60, because I love the snake design so much. Lmao I feel like it's fate since this weight is also PVD.

Love the weight and color options and the sound without foam (we need more boards w/o foam), not a huge fan of the aesthetic of the rest of the board. Regardless, amazing content like always.

I love my Parallel Sequence. Found a 3rd party half plate for it that made the sound perfect for me. I'm hoping that maybe they'll eventually drop this in a version without the weight sort of how they did with the portal/sequence. If the weight was something I was more into the price would be justified, but I'm not a big snake person so I'll be passing on this one personally, but it's a very beautiful board with a sick looking weight for sure. That sage looks awesome.

I have never tried an o-ring mounted board before. How does it compare to gasket mounted? I have a mr suit + jelly epoch for reference... Looks like it might be a good cherry mx black board?

I highly recommend trying an Oring board. Even if it's not the snake. They are bouncy in a different way than gasket and have a higher pitched sound.

Given the manufacturing costs and QC required for this board, the price is quite reasonable i think. The design is subjective, either you like it or you dont. It does sounds amazing though, i cant see any reason to put foam in this board. Nice spacebar too, plenty of brightness without being too harsh Overall, a great job by the Parallel Limited team

Clip the stems at the bottom. Balance the wire a bit. Lube housing and stem. Used string to add grease in the housing and where the wire clips in. Hope that helps my friend.

For whatever it’s worth, I’ve got a bakeneko 60 and bakeneko 65, and the 60 felt better (bouncier/softer) to me even with the same plate/gummy o ring hardness. I’d suspect the floating blocker (assuming that’s implying the blocker’s sitting above the o ring and plate/pcb assembly) would be similar to a board with no blockers at all. Maybe I just don’t have quite the touch with dropping in the plate/pcb assembly on the 65 though, I don’t know, but I’ve heard others express a similar sentiment.

The snake does not do it for me. It comes across as tacky, but to each their own. I love the quality aspect of parallel boards, and I love the assymetrical usb. Center usb does not donut for me. Hope some brands continue tondo this.

Not a huge fan of the snake on the back nor the word snake in the Kb ( although that is fine as you would never really see it ) especially since the price is 600... This aint it fam. $555 for a wkl 60 is laughable. you can buy a Geon Frog tkl for 300 and Geon is the GOAT. oh on top of that, its an Oring Bakeneko style keyboard. literally the cheapest mount system.
