If Harry Carpenter has to ask how do they do it you know it's a classic.

Two men who never took a backward step throughout their career's. I used to box for the lynn boxing club as an amateur, johnny often turned up for extra sparring, he was a really nice bloke, he met a special fighter in rudkin, who was desperately unlucky to lose against Aussie kingpin Lionel rose..

Todays fighters could lace the boots of these lads. An absolute classic of a fight in what was a fantastic era for boxing. Aaron I am assuming you are related... You must be so proud.

How did they come to terms with a tight loss after forty five-minutes of fighting ,boxers are incredible people but the older generation seemed to have more of them.

In an era where the 12th through 15th rounds were called, "The Championship Rounds." Who wanted it? That's how you could tell.
