It’s such a shame how Nephrite, the most potential filled character in the series was completely ignored in Future! To think they actually have captain gems in the series, but nope! They wanted to focus on the crystal gems, and Steven’s breakdowns!

This makes me wish we could get a prequel series that delves into the past more. I especially want to see more of Rhodonite's backstory.

OMG besides a flawless execution of the animation in this entire clip, there are tons of details that worth be reckon with 1.- Dialogues, I've never seen actual dialogues in any of these kind of fanmade videos, it was a NEAT addition 2.- Arrangement of MANY canon events, Hessonite's role in the war (Save the Light game), Lapis's unrecognition and imprisonment, Nephrite's crew look (as seen in Future), dialogue consistency with the series (Legs from here to Homeworld) 3.- Characters, many characters are seen here, besides the already mentioned, we have Snowflake Obsidian, Topazes, Amethysts, Jaspers, Rubies, Aquamarines, the gear-dress gems of the ball and the Jades (by looking at her dress-style). We EVEN have a look at some later-on corrupted gems that we never saw healed, the Desert Glass, the Slinker, and a blue one I just couldn't recognize (but I bet has a resemblance on the series since you wouldn't just invent a character out of nowhere) Just, AMAZING I consider this more canon than many episodes of the series EDIT: Searching I found out that the blue goblin-like uncorrupted gem is meant to be the design of the Invisible monster*

I wish we got to see more of Nephrite in Steven Universe Future. She was the only character in the theme song NOT shown in the show. I can see her eager to learn more, flying airplanes with humans, eating chips

Holy crap this is absolutely incredible. I love how you included Lapis’ story during all this, as well as other corrupted gems, plus Hessonite as well. they should've hired you while the show was stil running, this is the exact same style of animation. Like you just made 1/4 of an episode long clip that looks exactly like something that would take an entire team, they could put you in any position there and you would be able to do it just fine. if you continue lke this you are going to get hired somewhere 100%, keep up the amazing work!

Mannnn, this animation was amazing beyond comparee 😭🤩. Lapis' capture AND shatter, HESSONITE'S SIMPLY WAY IF MOVING, and simple things such as the order in which the diamonds raised their hands is just PERFECT lore-wise. Definitely subscribing 😎🤜🤛😎.

And I loved how you included every aspect of that very moment, nephrites story, the diamonds hands, rose shielding the crystal gems, lapis' mirror being dropped and her gem broken, and even nephrite saying her last words, the words she repeated when she got healed by yellow and blue. seeing it all together was very satisfying

I love how you tied up all the loose ends during this. Nephrite, her crew Lapis story the crystal gems and the shield , hessonite and the diamonds. You even added some corrupted gems from the art book like moonstone , the slinker, the desert glass gem and snowflake obsidian

You must never give into dispair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength.

That was incredible, it was heart wrenching enough to hear Nephrite share the memory with Steven but this, this is just perfect. I also loved how you tied in Lapis and the gems in the video too. It was done so well and so fluid; we really get a good grasp of time in your video and just how quickly things really did happen. I love it! It's probably never going to happen but I would have loved if there was a small series that showed everything from the earliest time where the Diamonds were created, to Pink diamond's arrival on earth, the rebellion, the war and ending with something like this. The final moments before the diamonds attack. Yes, it's good that we got to see a lot of flashbacks along with shared stories (interpretations) but it really would have been something to have seen everything play out, and to see more of home world around that time too. It was a very different place back then, and I feel that we didn't really even explore it too much in the main series when finally allowed to see it. Anyway, this really is an incredible animation and I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon it!

I'm crying over this, I know Nephrite gets better but she's so scared and I feel for her.

This was so sad because I realized that, in the episode where yellow and blue tried to heal her she said "no please no, we're all gonna be" When yellow tried to heal her, she was very aggressive and looked like she was fighting someone. And when blue tried to heal her, she kept crying and crying and saying "no please no, we're all gonna be". And because this is the saddest moment of her entire existance, that's why she's saying those exact words from the past because the sad feeling is too strong.
