I was waiting for this. Ben is so damn talented. He's pretty much my favorite artist of all time. So glad you got this reaction. If you ever want to delve into more Ben, I recommend 'Conrad', 'Burgh Island', 'Towing the Line' (Jools Holland), and 'Esmerelda' (Casino De Paris Live). There isn't enough reactions to Ben and I want to see more. ❤️

The live from Glastonbury version is stunning. The ambiance of the outdoor arena at dusk really adds to it all. You can just imagine yourself right there in the front row.

The album is an absolute masterpiece. And this live performance, Ive watched hundreds of times and nothing I've seen comes close to it. His heartbreak at the end screaming into his guitar is incredible "This is hell, this is just hell"

Through those first couple of minutes you don't understand why so many people recommend this performance. His change of pace and progression is stunning. What he does with an acoustic guitar is unreal.

Yes! Let's keep this Ben Howard train going, I think you guys would like the song I Forget Where We Were, which is the title track of his second album (which End of the Affair is on) It's a very easy listen and one of his biggest songs for a reason. Also would be intrigued to see you dive into a song or 2 off his 3rd album (noonday dream) which is very experimental and different to what you've heard already. Nica Libres At Dusk, Murmurations and There's Your Man being my personal favourites.

Honestly guys, I feel like you struggled with this a little, maybe because of the odd distraction here and there. It took me a few listens for this song/performance to sink in. It's worth giving this a few tries, trust me.

Seriously that was your reaction. OK. I get confused when people don't think that's one of the greatest live performances ever. But we are all different I suppose and its speaks to people differently. But man, that was....well 10 min of reaction that I wasted.

Hope he paid royalties to the Buckley estate for righteously ripping off "Song to the Siren".
