Yea. Thank God. I think that there are lot of Simon's in the media from a critical thinking POV. They just don't have his strength if conviction to stick with the value of truth. @kaisersolo76 Being under contract doesn’t override free speech. Only a criminal judge can issue a gagging order. In a civil court Man Utd could sue him for slang of the club. However like i said his lawyers are sitting in that room and have gone over every sentence discussed to see if Man Utd have a case and clearly they won’t. As long as he can prove all his accusations Man Utd can’t sue him. That is why this isn’t a Live interview. His lawyers have proof read the whole thing. Man utd can terminate his contract which he probably wants anyway but they won’t be able to sue him.

Here the deal with Simons take, he talked about the markle sensational interview, accusing of racism and saying where’s the proof sort of thing, like obviously there is racism there and it shows in a wide variety of ways; they subjugated countries in what we call colonialism. But my pt isn’t to argue that, but to show how while Simon thinks he just a normal guy giving an average persons perspective, he’s not. He was an owner and still a businessman. That’s his perspective from that side of it and it shows all the time. He wants to say Ronaldo isn’t bigger than the club no matter how many followers he had, but doesn’t cite the fact that the highest grossing Jersey sales of all time at MUFC were Ronaldo’s Jersey when he came back! There are plenty of fans who are juve/madrid/United fans just bc Ronaldo went there. Ronaldo is a business as well and to demean that, again is owners perspective. Not saying simons take is necessarily right or wrong but someone needs to call him out on this stuff. Same with not understanding clubs never show loyalty to players, so naturally the past decade (especially in American sports) you see players taking control and running down contracts and forming super teams where they can. And when you’re a big important worlds greatest contender player you can do stuff like this. It’s obviously not about money. Ronaldo was promised something, didn’t get it, is old and wants to get out of the club and go somewhere to win before he calls quits. I don’t think he cares he’s getting 500k/wk from his employer, he’s Ronaldo for christs sake. This is deliberate so he can get released and move on, it’s such a simple thing and the badmouthing about United is what we all know bc mourinho said it, LVG said it, zlatan said it, he’ll even Alexis said he wished he could go back to arsenal after his first training at United.

Personally, as a Man Utd and Ronaldo fan, I'm quite ambivalent about this interview from Ronaldo. On one hand, he is right on some things and wrong on the other. Everyone is jumping to extremities, instead of actually listening.
