If you can afford it buy the KE instead as it is running input shaper so your prints will be done quicker - any 3D printer is a good printer if you do not own one though 😂

A benefit of the corexz that is not mentioned much is that the printer usually moves a lot in X and little in Z. So you have the speed/precision of 2 motors that distribute the load of a single axis.

Unfortunately it'll be bottlenecked by the y axis. It'll be interesting to see how the dual motor y on the plus version does.

Seems like creality really loves placing the spool holder in the stupidest place. At the top for a bowden setup and on the side for a direct drive. 😂

Since you moved it to the top, I think you should also get rid of the bowden tube and just feed the filament directly to the extruder. Maybe leave a few cm of bowden on the extruder to help guide the filament in. Not that your current setup wouldn't work fine but the filament does make an unneeded stray there and it should be a very easy fix :)

Great video, and seems like this is a great bedslinger. Would you consider the K1C a better value at $459? This is where it currently sits today on Father’s Day and seems like it does add quite a few features for an extra hundred dollars. Thank you 🙏

Hey I just got this printer. Im curious you show you are using a printed spool holder up top. Where do I find that? Also are you rerunning some stuff to make the filament feed differently or just simple and changing where the spool is?

I have been using this printer for about a month and am most impressed by its performance BUT BUT BUT that spool holder is a joke .It looks as if creality built this printer and then decided that they had better put the spool holder somewhere. The pink one you show is also pretty useless because the bowden tube catches on it when the head is fully raised . I have mounted my spools on a freestanding elevated spool holder behind the printer and removed all but an inch of bowden tube. The filament runs from the top of the spool over the top of the frame and down into the short bowden tube .Problem fixed.

Your method is how I run most of my printers. Yeah it feels like the Ender 3 V3 SE and KE have better filament holding solutions than this one. But it still prints great

Can you feed it from the top ? Unplug the filament sensor and ditch the tube ?

Currently it is still going through the filament sensor, butthat does bend the filament path a bit much. I've seen some mods to move the filament sensor that I'm going to look into

Yes you can .I cut the Bowden tube down to about one inch and pushed a piece of filament into the sensor to stop it flashing a warning.

@@britinozoz On some other Ender 3 printers I have just disconnected the filament sensor. That also work.

@@murci6891 I don't know of any specific communities for this printer yet, but reddit might have some other people to talk to. For finding mods and such, I always keep an eye on Printables.com and Thangs.com Those are my favorite websites to find printing files
