I own an Ender3 v2 and Sermoon D1. I have never had bed level issues with the 3 V2. If I have a print on the Sermoon D1 that comes off difficult, I need to level the bed again. A bl touch would be a big improvement for the Sermoon. Also some way to sink left/right steppers

Anyone know why when I print and it goes to the last auto level it stays there and doesn’t print but the percentage keeps going up from 0-100?

I ❤️ you Creality. Brand new 5+ printing a perfect tuzi out of the box with supplied filament. BL touch works flawlessly with the set up in this vid. Thank you for making a great printer at an affordable price. Really, I love you.

If anyone can point me in the right direction. My BLTouch isn't engaging every time like this one does and my z-offset - doesn't even work. I know I did something wrong, but I can't find anyone to say how to reset it to default settings.

I think the Z axis has intermittent issues on one of the steppers. is there a video on how to test the connections? I printed the Z indicators and they are moving out of sync. I can get a couple of small prints to go ok but when I try something big it makes it about 24 hrs and then it knocks the print off the glass. one time it knocked the glass on to the floor.

What does putting the auto levelling on do as opposed to keeping it unchecked?

At the beginning of each print it will measure your bed and get it to as close to level as possible automatically before each print

@OFFICIAL CREALITY3D I followed this video exactly and get my bed leveled manually perfectly. I go back to the leveling screen and make the small adjustment to the z axis just as you do then turn on auto leveling and complete the auto level but it is at least 2mm away after I do so. If I go to print the z axis shows about .60mm compensation, I adjust it with a piece of paper as the bed and nozzle heats up it prints fine but how do I get the auto level to actually work and not have to manually adjust it every time?

When i press 'levelling' the head goes to the middle and then the bed raises so high it hits the gantry and the z motors wont stop so i have to power it off. The bl touch doesnt pop out like it does in this vid. Driving me crazy! Brand new machine all ive done is fit silent board not sure if this is the reason. Can anyone help?
@undeadmage8386
@undeadmage8386 3 жыл бұрын
Turn it on and attempt to print something. Open the settings and change the Z compensation to 0.00. That should fix your issue when you go to run the leveling software again! Edit: after changing the z-axis compensation, cancel the print and then go back to leveling.
@OliverMillin
@OliverMillin 3 жыл бұрын
@@undeadmage8386 thanks for the reply! I tried that tho but no luck. Finally figured out what it was. When installing the silent board i put the red brown and orange wire connector on the wrong pins. This is for the BL touch so it wasnt registering z axis properly. All fixed yay!

Did you ever find a fix? Very few guides on bed levelling for Ender 5 Plus
@toshlarue
@toshlarue 3 жыл бұрын
@@benfletcher9659 yes. I ordered shims. And a digital caliper. I use the .004 shim.. ok soi measure the bed side bars in front. I can share pic what I measured. I wanted the bed level on each side so I knew the bed was even on the threaded rods. After heat bed to 55 and nozzle to 80. I did a auto level. Adjust the nozzle to bed using shim hit Z home after to SAVE SETTING. Then a aux level using the shims. All the 4 points on corner twice. Then a auto level. Then another aux level twice. Then one more auto level. Turn auto level off after . Then go print. I print via micro SD. Your z setting save there. That way you can adjust if you need to. Auto level never works with for me before a prints. Either does its own thing or doesn't work right. I also upgraded to silicone springs and all metal extruder

ender 5 plus is trash, I had 5 other printers models and none with the issues I have witht his printer. It got better after a direct drive upgrade from Microswiss, however it's the most tempermintal printer I have ever owned. I woudn't suggest it to anyone who is a novice at all. I know I'm going to get a million people say otherwise but this is my experience and I'm not a novice at 3d printing. This is just a terrible printer out of the box and Creality knows it.
@smallnuts2
@smallnuts2 7 ай бұрын
I agree and after you upgrade to a silentboard, you don't have esteps anymore. You have to use pronterface. I still haven't learned that yet and tutorials don't cover the changes once you change out board. No advance settings or save. I'm going to try using wingnuts to help keep bed level.

The machine places the nozzle in the ideal place for levelling and not the sensor, this will not give a correct level bed in this configuration, fix the firmware Creality, do a proper job, not a half-arsed attempt!

The sensor margin of error is so big that it wouldn't do shit. If your bed is so uneven 1" further the nozzle, then the sensor won't do crap. Adjust the knob better!

I love mine. If you take the time to level it properly and turn off auto leveling, then it prints great. I haven't had to level or calibrate it in probably 2 months now. I came here to see how creality says to level it cause I'm printing a new material and it's not a good tutorial. The "data you can ignore" is pretty important stuff and they're looks awful

I agree this is a terrible machine, my ender CR10v 3 has printed solid for two years and never needed to be adusted other then general maintance, the 5 Plus is pure trash.
