Hey Sal in the exothermic and exergonic reacction where did the purple/pink atom go in the two pair of atoms molucule and in the endothermic and exergonic reaction could you colour/color every atom diferent. Sal I also signed n on khan academy because of your great teaching. Bye Sal

I though freezing water is a spontaneous reaction its exothermic and has decreasing entropy. Shouldnt it be exogonic vs endogornic? Or does this only apply to constant temperature and pressure?

Sorry that no one replied, but in freezing a liquid into a solid, heat is released because the potential energy of the attractive forces between molecules is converted to heat. Since a solid is intrinsically more ordered than a liquid, freezing decreases disorder and entropy of the system decreases (ΔS
