I know everybody really likes the final boss fight- and it IS a really good fight, but for some reason... it's the first fight against the giant that does it for me. Illtauga is such an interesting character, and her design is... so human. Which I know sounds weird, but they easily could have made her look more monsterous- but there's some depth behind seeing her human features. We see her as Senua sees her. Running to cut the chains while the fire blazes in time with the swell of the orchestra... it just fits and works really well.

If you ever replay this game, there's a heavy attack

Yeah, an epic journey; that last fight has been the most epic one that i've seen on a video game yet, the game's music it's very Hedningarna like imo and the convination of everything it's just outstanding. Also, you were right, this is much better with a good pair of headphones; it's totally different.

Just finished today what an epic finish and final boss battle.

I personally belief that none of the characters from the story were real but all imagined in Senua's mind. The movie "A Beautiful Mind" shows, how realistic these hallucinations can be for someone who suffers from Schizophrenia, since their brain does not fully distinct between the information coming from the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin and the imaginations in their mind, it is all the same. The characters sometimes disappear and then conveniently pop up at another place where Senua is, or just the sudden shifts in places, weather conditions or time of day. The places she visits seem abandoned and in a state of decay, probably a result of a plague or the volcanic activity on the island, and some action scenes are in combination with volcanic outbursts, and Senua connects her escape from these also with fighting enemies or a giant. Notice how the giants turn into rock formations, and it is known that people suffering from Schizophrenia extrapolate random patterns they see into stories of conspiracies and enemies trying to deceive them and they have to fight. It could very much be that Senua was dealing with her childhood trauma inflicted by her father after surviving the boat accident while wandering all alone on this island, dealing with volcanic outbursts, extreme weather conditions and exploring abandoned places in decay.

I did play through it recently, and watched your playthrough now, which I enjoyed 😊. What a game.

" 🎉🎉🎉🫨🫨🫨🫨 And finale giant, that guy Thór guy and that father goõl face to face because he don't want kills Giants Senua and Thór want kills Giants So father kills own son, he's killer Thór say " kills the giant " it means His father because killings people sacrifices So boss fight senua vs Tyrant killer 😮😮😮 So I don't understand senua ending was sad or weird 😐😐 I don't know but we know the futuro senua hellblade 3 ??
