It's a lovely day in the village, and you are a horrible goose. Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples' back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day.

To get the flower, just do what the women do. If they spread their arms, spread your wings. If they Bow to you, Lower your head. The "burly guy" puts tomatoes in the closest box. You need to make a trail of tomatoes leading to the box in the back under the bucket.

The symbolism is quite interesting here. In storytelling, bells are used to signal an impending change, essentially demarcating a beginning, an end, a call, a warning. In our daily life, we encounter bells in many aspects- some of which have been digitized for convenience- When a postman delivers a package, he rings your doorbell. Most churches ring a bell during the day to signal the time. Schools ring a bell to keep a strict schedule. Let’s go a little bit deeper. Bells are also rung in celebration of holidays and weddings. During war time, bells could also a warning of danger. The New York Stock Exchange rings a bell to signal the open and close of the stock market. The bell’s movement also implies a duality as it sways back and forth, creating a physical divide between two states, light and dark, open and close, start and end, good and evil, chaos and peace. In Untitled Goose Game, after wreaking havoc and causing chaos, the player now must steal a bell atop a church of some kind, by destroying that church. Symbolically, the player steals the very object that which the community depends on to maintain order, further plunging the world into chaos. When the player makes it home, you realize there is a small collection of bells, meaning you’ve done it before. This gives us a full picture of the message. The goose is an agent of chaos. And in every cycle, its final destructive act is to steal the bell.
