In present day Los Angeles, Daphne (Woodley), a thirty something woman, navigates love and heartbreak over the course of one year. Daphne becomes intertwined with friends Jack (Dornan) and Frank (Stan) after meeting them at a party. During that time, she will unlock the secrets to her life in a sudden turn of events and in the most surprising of places.

I think she had past demons and they way to get past would have been to avoid BOTH of the men and work it out by herself and then when she is at peace with herself then she can pursue a relationship. But then lol we wouldn’t have a story in the movie she wanted to explore different parts of herself with these different men. The physical enjoyment with frank and the relationship enjoyment with jack. Which can only make the situation worse because it caused her to have a child. But it gave her a rediscovered sense of herself, peace and a reason to live and have purpose.

She needed them both ( the stable and the volatile) .... I wish they were more open to work it out

Hell no lol did u watch the movie.... she couldn’t get past her stuff and needed the drama to avoid dealing with her actual life. She didn’t want to be serious or deal so frank was fun and attractive and drama loves drama... but with Jack she didn’t know she wanted or could have a real life... he was what’s he needed and ended up being what she wanted but she found out to late and ended up messing it up. It sucks ... frank showed his true self when he got High... jack showed his true self when he mentions Paris and asked her to go with him... frank was everything jack said he was and jack was everything he showed her...

I want her to be with frank be he’s messed he doesn’t what he wants very back forth not got for a stable relationship

I think it is. She was more embarrassed telling Jamie’s character about it. She seemed more interested in Frank.
