Yes, they do have boundaries. Watch every episode if you can find them, and you'll find out there are a number of things they're absolutely forbidden to do, and some things are just plain and simply not possible.

If she has a super long lifespan how many times was she already married? Even if it were none, Darrin would just be a blip in her life. She would marry many times through the centuries. That would be too tough for me to take - no matter how gorgeous and loving she was

@@evoman1776 Going by Maurice and Endora, witches and warlocks seem to marry for life. Maybe, when you live for centuries, having a person who's a constant, even if you're relationship is strained, matters a lot. So, Darrin may be Sam's first husband. But, unless she uses magic on him, she's going to spend ages without him. Although the show doesn't discuss it much, it's a rational reason for her parents to be against her marrying a mortal. Samantha is in for a world of hurt some day.

She might outlive him. Her age was never directly stated but it's implied several times throughout the series that she's several hundred years old. It have been addressed if the serious had gone on a little longer.

Based on several instances on the show...you could estimate that Samantha was at least 400 years old...or in the 400's lol! That could easily make Endora 800-1000+ years old!

And yet despite being around models, flirtatious clients, office girls, exes and other attractive women, he _never once_ was tempted to be unfaithful...well, unless witchcraft was involved. Now granted, the guy was a bit stubborn, ornery and "Old School" in his thinking, yeah, wanting only "his way" in the household....but he worked _hard_ for Samantha and his children, usually putting their wellbeing first. And even _being_ so victimized by them, Darrin tolerated her family (outright welcomed Aunt Clara, was very civil to Maurice if he was civil to him, and tried to make Endora and Sabrina comfortable whenever Tabitha was around.) That one time Endora granted him 3 wishes, unbeknownst to him, he could have *easily* wished her out of their lives FOREVER....but did it only for a week, even though Endora's chicanery *almost had Sammi WALK OUT on him!* Shit, had that been _me,_ she would have AT LEAST been wished "Ever time you use magic on me in a a negative way, or have someone else do it, you will turn into a FROG for a WEEK!" Shut her ass up with all that magical bullying for DAMN sure! Dude deserved a bit more respect for real.
