I recently got the ETS surgery for my excessive sweaty hands and feet and I’m so satisfied, dry, and happy! Do not be discouraged about compensatory sweating! I took the risk and would sweat somewhere else rather than my hands! I use and work with my hands 99% of the time anyways! Best of luck to everyone who suffered like I did! Tip: find a great doctor! I recommend finding someone who does robotic ETS! GL!

I had this operation when i was 16, im now 40, and it changed my life forever. It was emotional watching this lady speak about her condition and im delighted for her and i would recommend that anyone who has it to get this operation done whilst I understand surgery isn't an option for everyone. I owe everything to my parents who agreed to it and paid for it so I realise how blessed I am.

@Mr Hitman yes of course, I was informed at the time that there might be some compensatory excess sweating from different glands such as the armpits and the feet. I wont deny that I found there to be slightly, but notably, more excessive sweating under my armpits but for me this is a small price to pay to be able to shake a person's hand confidently or touch a loved one without being embarrassed. I was informed that this compensatory sweating doesnt apply to everyone and obviously depends on the extremity of the person's condition. My condition to me was extreme. Ask me anything you like so that I can help but only you can decide what's best for you. I wish you all the best.

If you live in a hot climate don’t have an ETS whereby they cut the nerve as appose to burning the nerve. An option to reverse the procedure is best due to possible compensatory sweating elsewhere. If you live in a hot climate your back and groin area may start to sweat. This operation suited me as I live in a colder climate so the compensatory sweating was very minimal, apart from a couple of months during summer. Look into this procedure first.

You think cutting nerves in the sympathetic CHAIN ON THE F ing SPINE is a god idea... its is absolute insanity! It has been banned in sweden WERE IT WAS INVENTED. WARNING!!!

@Derone Cerrone the inability to feel excitiment in the chest because of a paralyzed fight or flight response in the core of the body? Is that minor? The inability to regulate temp when in the sun and going for a light walk? Is that minor? Perptual burning nerve pain in chest hands and feet? is that minor. Go to hell

It works kinda ok on me, still im gonna see my doctor this month to maybe see some possible medications, cuz my excessive sweating is mostly when im nervouse, so idk... have you tried medications before? cuz surgery is really a one way ticket.@@elibands6956

Did you try to see a doctor and maybe try medications? im seeing mine this month, dermadry helps but i still got armpits n feet etc... surgery is always a 1 way ticket, u can get better or worse... if it's worse, then it's over :/@@elibands6956

Don't do this surgery! Try any other method but not this permanent procedure because it fucks the nervous system. I did it and I REGRET it. There's a LIST of side effects the doctors won't tell you about. I am going to try to reverse it through clamp removal, but the nerves might be too damaged already. I simply don't understand why they keep on doing this. They find it simple to go inside someone's chest and destroy the nerves outside the spine. Maybe because of money or status. It is not minimally invasive. It is an atrocity with life devastating effects. DON'T DO IT.

@@Breastsinmymouthplease Almost 3 years ago. Side effects are getting much worse. I will do a reversal (removal of clamps) but there is no guarantee that I will get better. Just DON'T DO IT, it is a warning.

Well, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled the latest by Cynthia Yulesin and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.

I had this surgery back in 2014 and I only needed moisturizer for the first month, now I don't use and I my hands aren't dry

Liam PH for me it was totally life changing, my hands don’t sweat anymore and I have more confidence in myself. The only side effect is that now my back sweats and it didn’t before, but it only sweats when I work out or its hot outside, which is normal for any person. For a couple of month after surgery my legs also sweat but that went away, my doctor said it was normal. Overall really well, I recommend it a lot because I know how sweating like crazy can affect you physically and specially mentally
