0 cost event is the same as leader ability where you heal THEN trash 1 so you could've used the trigger at the end to heal

A lot of people mis-interpret that trigger because there is a heal first then effect. Always have to explain at my locals about that.

As people mentioned you could have triggered life and then done leader effect. It would also be in that order. Trigger effect first, then leader ability. The cost of trashing a card is not mandatory. So in both instances you wouldn’t need to trash a card because you wouldn’t have it

you can trigger the 0 cost event & Enel effect to get 2 life cards without trashing IF your hand is empty,
