Luffy only works when you are at 2 or less life u did the first 2 when u had 3 so cheated a bit there

as a hanny player myself you made a not so play mistake just a funny goof that some people can pick up on, you played the normal sadi first then the alt art next showing you had 2 different sadis in hand aka 4k in counter at least

Definitely feels like you waited to long to pull the trigger. Feels like while he was at 7k and no big boddies could have gotten some good swings for game. Either clearing board and some cards from his hand Also not taking the edison damage at the end to filter. Just replace Pythagoras and I think it's a whole different game for you. Great match and keep up the great work !

I hate the blue deck matchups. Grav blade is so bad for us. Just make sure you are at 2 life with the Pythagoras effect. You activated it a few times that game when you were at 3 life

not sure if this would've changed anything, but at 35:30 he activated both luffy effects but didnt trash the life or draw a card. he just gave them the plus 2k power for free

much better game then the last one. I don’t remember if you run atlas if you don’t you need to. My cut recommendation would Edison. No real reason I guess I am just a mad man haha. Kata helps so much for this matchup since you will almost never be able to kingdom come him. I think dropping that Yama and not healing was where you lost your lead I think you should have used the don to poke cards out of his hand and possibly leave some up for the quasar. But all in all by Luffy is one of the hardest matchups for us next to law keep your head up and don’t worry about the judges in the comment section

Im 90% sure that he didnt play egghead luffy properly at 16:20 because you have to be able to pop something in order to meet the condition to draw a card.

@@DONTENUSI was wrong, my bad lol. Just got done chatting with local judges and its not the separate sentence but the fact that it says "ko up to one 4 cost or less." The up to means it could be 0 which is why the draw can go through as long as the first condition of 2 or less life is met first.

First! I was always under the impression that you needed to successfully Ko with the luffy ability in order to get the card draw. It looks like I’m wrong, yeah?

@@NightcapeXX if you read Luffy ability. The KO part is completely separated by a period from the draw part. Either way you draw, but you can only pop if it’s a 4 cost your targeting.

@@DONTENUS right. I think I’m thrown off but the use of the word THEN which makes me think you have to follow the steps. Whereas law leader ability uses the word AND so you know you don’t have to bottom deck an opponents character in order to bring out your own. I was just unclear. Thanks for clarifying

I'm a little lost on that too. I watch the b/y Luffy player pop Rocket Luffy and draw a card. They declined the ko, so what was even targeted to use the ability? You can just trash whenever for a free draw?

Your opponent cheats at ~15 min when he claims to have “forgotten” to discard to leader ability. The discard was one of the 5 drops that ends up in life. He then discards a 2 drop kid to enable the Gecko play he otherwise couldn’t have done. I know it’s just locals, and I enjoy the production quality of your content, but that still sucks to see.

People are so quick to call someone a cheater smh. He asks Don10 if he discarded already, and they agreed that he hadn’t because neither one realized that he discarded 5c Sabo. However, if he discards baby for lead, and puts 5c Sabo from trash and 5c Sabo from hand in life using leader ability, the result is the exact same. Call it a miss play if you want, or lack of paying attention, but a small one off detail doesn’t automatically mean someone’s cheating.

If he just discards the baby and adds big Sabo to life from hand, the result is the exact same, and the gameplay doesn’t change at all.

@@PandasizeD Yama is 100% best card in deck. Allows you to heal/ko while being able to be flexible with Leader ability! 10c Ace could easily be 8c Kata
