This Urban Valor story features Retired Marine combat veteran GySgt Marc Cox. Marc served in the Marine Corps Security Force Battalion in an anti-terrorism unit. From there he went to the Fleet Marine Force to serve as part of 2nd Battalion 1st Marines located at Camp Pendleton, Ca. Lastly, Marc served as an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator and shares his struggles with having to helplessly watch enemy attacks from drones where the lag in communication came with the ultimate cost.
This is an emotional episode to watch and listen. This Marine combat veteran truly represents our US Military so well. He's a hero and we appreciate him.

I love hearing these experiences from different people via this project. And there are non vet people like me hearing these stories. I understand military life and mindset because I served a year in Finnish Defence Forces like most of men out here but it is very interesting to hear experiences from other countries as well. More so because it is not mandatory thing to serve in US so I love to learn what makes people to enlist, what they learned during the experience and how they are afterwards. Thank you project Urban Valor for sharing these videos and thank you to the vets who share their experience with us.

I love how at the end of this episode - he said how he hopes non veterans watch these videos. I love hearing about the stories and honesty the trials and tribulations as well, because when the conversations get deep, I feel like I can connect just a little bit better with that person on some level. Thank you for your service - and thank you Urban Valor for bringing these stories to light.
