Warrel was such a great person. I got the chance to talk to him in 99 for like a half hour before a show. He was really great to hang with. One of the best songwriters in metal. I had the pleasure to see Him and Jim live in Sanctuary several times and always went to see them with Nevermore. RIP Warrel, thanks for great memories

I know nevermore will never come back again sadly, I just think Jeff Loomis is completely wasted in arch enemy right now. He is such a great song writer on top of being an amazing guitarist and I think he's held back in arch enemy.
@gianniskagias31265 жыл бұрын
mcgarnacle21 I think most of us who saw him with nevermore and his solo projects agree with that...I am a big fan of melodic death but never got into arch enemy and like u said I think jeff looses his time with this band
@mcgarnacle215 жыл бұрын
Giannis Kagias I like arch enemy, at least their older stuff, but I read in a recent interview that Ammot doesn’t really allow him much creative input which, as I said, is a big waste.
@gst0135 жыл бұрын
There is no Nevermore without Warrel. Jeff is wasted in Arch Enemy, but he still does his side projects where he writes songs, and I'm happy for him that he gets paid as his talents have always deserved in a big band like Arch Enemy.
@DannyV1065 жыл бұрын
So true!
@sephiroth7625 жыл бұрын
I love the *idea* of Jeff in Arch Enemy, but his talent is going to waste as a "hired gun" in that band. I love AE, but let's be honest, it's the Michael Amott show: he writes all the songs, records all the parts, pens the lyrics, etc. and everyone else is just there to be part of his concept. Jeff is better than that.
