A quick comparison of different logs on a log burner

The second lot work out more eco than the "eco" at 50p ( 25p an hour at the bulk price ) an hour Vs the first one 60p an hour, what's the brand of the second lot ? I use wood fuel direct heat logs, those workout at around £1.09 each and cheaper in bulk, last around 1.5- 2 hours ish when I have the air closed off about half way and they give off a lot of heat

Hi , 2nd lot are Croft logs - bulk buy works out even cheaper - but obviously harder to store and transport costs etc. Thanks Ray

@@yorkknight The cost of some heat logs can be deceptive, it's the time they burn for is key, any idea about RUF ? Some sites don't state burn duration.

@@Rapid_GT I had never heard of rug before. I might try a few more makes in another video soon. I agree , burn rates are probably 1 of the most important factors- but hardly used. Ray

Hi - try Croft logs (nr York) - the recycled ones I use in the video- I know they do a great offer for bulk buy / transport costs work out not bad then aswell. Thanks Ray
