Just about settled my nerves for a debrief on the QFs. England will face the hosts Australia who defeated France in a dramatic penalty shootout. The home support for Australia will be massive. The crowds, attendances, fan parks have been hopping. Sweden defeat Japan and Spain get an extra time win over the Netherlands! The World Cup is alive!! All logic says she'll remain in the WSL. Along with her family being in England & Scotland this makes the most sense for her comfort and happiness. But if the WSL teams were blind to her WWC play and not offering and she truly wanted to continue playing top flight football, there are 2 new teams (and 60 roster spots) opening up in the US NWSL next spring. Denise O'Sullivan is happy in the States and Rachel Daly was for many years until it was time to come home.

The Spain situation is that they don't like the manager because of tactics and his training style. Originally what they had to do was send a letter saying they were sorry and that they would be eligible for selection for the national team. Apparently there were discussions with some of the players and they just had to notify the Federation that they were eligible for selection. But some like Mapi Leon refused. There's rumors that the coach and Putellas are not getting along that's why he's keeping her on the bench.

Je suis... Renard. I actually thought he engaged very little with his team. It seemed at times during their huddles that they were managing themselves and making their own decisions. being irish I’ve never cheered England onto win anything, in my entire life, Until this next match. Personally think France deserved the win and Australia had an advantage due to the fury of the home soil vigour etc. Anyways Lionesses FTW ❤. For Spain, They have a problem with the manager and the Spanish Federacion They are not listen about their opinions and how they feel (injuries,…) so a lot of the players got injured during the Euros 2022 (putellas, mariona and others) Olso they have less quality staff and fisios then in their clubs and compared to other National teams and compared to the men’s team. They tried to explain this to the federation but nobody responded so they had to make a statement Hope it helps understand 😊

What I want to see is a team like Columbia get a heavy dose of their own medicine. Now I did not see the game because you know, Australia and free to air TV did not televise much of the tournament. Soccer can't be allowed to be so popular hear because there are three other codes the networks are invested in. But I digress. What I heard from and Aussie commenter was that Columbia were lucky not to get cards for their tackles. So I would like to see their players play 70 minutes with bruised calf muscles and feet. Feel the crunch of an elbow in the back as they climb for a header and then see the Ref ignore it and wave play on. But to be fair, the refereeing has been of a very poor standard in this competition. Apparently they have dismissed the rule for tackles off the ground, hands, shoulders and elbows into the back is just rough and tumble. Studs up tackles are nothing to worry about and as happened to Caitlin Ford, having your tit ravaged while being kicked between two defenders is not worthy of a VAR review let alone the Ref's first notice. Were going to see more brutal football where creative players wind up in the hospital. Spanish football was like this until the Butcher of Bilbao broke Maradona's leg in his first season in Spain. A record signing fee that did not last a third of the season.

U had good world cup yous weren't disgraced I only caught 2nd half of Canada game because was working I thought like better team maybe won I thought katiemccabe was outstanding she was doing work of two or three she could see she had to girl there little John had great one two with Katie put great ball in and your one should I think scored header one massive chance in the second half and then took u off I didn't think right option unless she had mind make up take you off I thought Quinn at back is class I suppose I can play like her to fan of Katie even future manager of Ireland I did back Sweden win I don't think will if get final I win money I think Australian beat England and James of England world class player one match enough
