Such a poor decision to blink on the tanks, but I actually think chasing the reaper with both adepts was a TERRIBLE decision. You know your opponent delayed their CC, and is on two-base, you know they're pushing, and you can get the reaper with just one adept and hold the other out to scout. Instead he was blind, for no gain, and he wasn't even posturing with the stalkers to delay the siege.

@@ckhound1 P desperately needs at least one if not several buffs. Its laughable to me as a masters Z main that anyone with a brain looked at Z and thought "yup balanced". T has issues too, they need a rework. But in this case, any race would have probably died. It was such an early all-in and creator had literally two or three units when he scouted it.

Agreed. Having a live KZfaq was a really big selling point for GSL. It's a smaller presence without it, but I'll take what I can get.

Protoss was just a poorly designed race in SC2, I can’t think of the counter to mass battle cruisers because Blizzard removed every spell or strategy that would prevent losing to them. Battle cruisers have high DPS and high armor and Protoss have nothing that can match them. Pretty pathetic design if you ask me.

@@sergiokieri3137 this is one of the things, but if you ask me the main problem is giving them mass teleport. this can make battlecrusers just use mass tp on top of your protoss air army use their spell which will kill half of your army for 5 seconds then finish the rest if it easy. not just that but they can fire while moving too. when carriers or any other more air unit need to stop fire, move then stop fire again. phoenix can move and fire but they are not the unit vs heavy armor bc-s. terran needs nerf on their battlecrusers, because even the commentators saying while casting the terrans are abusing bc-s late game.

@@Avrorabg which could be balanced if storm wasn’t a paltry 85 dmg, if stasis were a spell punishing grouping, if a mothership could could create a vortex to suck them in and then I could load it with archons to one shot them, if stalkers weren’t ass, or if battlecuisers were designed with some kind of flaw like low firing rate, regular armor, energy to be feedbacked. The Protoss has had shit design of their units and now that the gimmicks have run out they are on life support. I never played LotV probably never will because Blizzard made a shit game. Protoss don’t even have high defensive units with low dps like SCBW, their design concept is stupid gimmicks and gotcha.

@@Hayman1257 anything Protoss could do that was worth anything was nerfed or scaled back to do nothing at all. It’s as if Blizzard decided Protoss players just like to lose playing defensive or don’t deserve any edge ever. Just look at stasis ward, why doesn’t it hit air? It was sold as an ability to hurt the economy without killing then nerfed to a ward to prevent access but as a Protoss player the main damage you are trying to prevent are drops from terrans. If stasis ward hit air it would even be useful for this BC teleports on top of my army. This game is just pathetic and when it is dead in 10 years and BW is still going strong know that it deserved to die.

It's true, clips of funny banter and action packed game moments would be cool. Wish they would have been doing that back when Artosis was still around too. Top tier tastosis banter is such a niche thing that many people would like if they just saw a clip of it.

You talking about VS Dark? He had Dark on the ropes. In some cases like this, the aggressive Blink keeps Dark from backing off and resetting the fight with the next wave of reinforcements. Creator maybe coulda done better with insane individual Blink-back micro, but that's not a given even at this level of play. This wasn't anything like the aggressive Blinks we used to see out of Patience, definitely not a tactic that seems particularly criticism-worthy to me.

I don't want to be the noob giving pro players tips but anytime you can kill a reactor is good vs Terran. They take a very long time to build. I saw a few missed chances on the part of creator who could have done that. It also makes them super mad which they really deserve right now cuz there's too many of them.

Yeah without the mothership old spell, arbiters from BW or Dragons from BW Protoss simply has no answers. Storm is a joke, stalkers are spidery jokes, and carriers can’t get through the high armor.

​@@sergiokieri3137You know, what's funny? I always lose on low masters to lategame toss. It is crazy, how much control can really matter in StarCraft II. Although I don't disagree. On lower level, Toss lategame is hell to play against imo.

@@dannyy8619 I’m bringing up that there isn’t a unit or spell that allows Protoss to fight this composition. All that they can do is not “allow” their opponent to get into this position. Looking at their tools and knowing from playing BW since 1998 and SC2 since 2010 that eventually all the cheeses get figured out I don’t think Protoss has the tools to do this. You can attack my intelligence but that won’t make them splash air unit, have a good ground to air anti capital ship strategy or make terrans all BC composition have a weakness. In BW I was a ICCup B, in SC2 I was masters low GM, I quit before elo as I never played LotV, I left because I was tired of blizzard making gimmicky shit for Protoss.

@@miptzi He moved to Canada for largely family reasons (his wife is from CA) around when AfreecaTV was changing their investment intentions for the GSL. When he made the decision, it wasn't certain that GSL would be continued. Since then, he's been totally focused on BroodWar and the GSL did return, albeit with a largely crowd-funded prize pool. They downsized a lot of in-house costs. He may do SC2-related stuff in the future, and he's still casting ASL with Tasteless, but he's been dropping some Debbie Downer comments about SC2 on his stream lately. He even recently did a stream of him playing SC2 in Diamond and he was extra salty throughout (which is his brand, to be fair).

EMP is just too good, 100 shield and energy drain and its a freaking AoE spell. Throw it on a clump up Protoss army and its basically a thousand points of shield gone. It can also instantly drain a few hundred points of energy on a clump of spell caster.

@@skychaos87 I agree. Protoss would kill for Feedback to work like EMP (i.e, AoE), even if it did no damage.

@@skychaos87 EMP doesn't stack and no one at the pro level lets 10 ghosts blanket their army for free just as how no one lets HT just storm their bio for free. Stop exaggerating.

​@@dannyy8619 Learn to read, no one says it stacks, but its a freaking AoE spell. And Protoss army clumps up especially with Colossus standing over the Protoss units. Its an instant 100 shield and energy lost. Storm only does 80 points and does it over 3 seconds approximately. You have time to split and for medivacs to heal. One EMP on a bunch of gateway units with a few Colossus or Protoss air units on top of it and its instantly a thousand shield points gone. If there are sentries, oracles and phoenixes it drains their energy too. If there are DTs it reveals them as well. You can even use it on buildings. You can't split against EMP cause its instant, it also has more range and radius than storm lol. Anyone with a sane mind knows how much value EMP has over other spells. Its literally the best spell in the game, even if you don't use EMP, Ghosts can still snipe and nuke, its a counter against Broodlords, Lurkers, Ultras and even useful against Queens, Overlords and Mutalisks. With EMP its a counter against all spell casters in the game. Ghosts even has cloak to increase the chances of connecting its spells.

Try it yourself, you'll see.

The queen. The unit players like to whine about, but without the queen, your scenario would happen every game. Despite what some believe, the queen's damage doesn't scale well and she is near useless away from hatcheries, outside of specific nydus worm attacks. So they are good for early defense, but any mid game army can roll through them if the zerg doesn't have a proper army. They should be able to deal with mass phoenix/viking by then.
