[Into the World of SK] SK On Hungary, a key location for targeting the global battery market
Hello, subscribers~!
This is the 5th journey of "Into the World of SK"! It's all thanks to your love and interest :)
Today, we will introduce SK Innovation's passionate overseas business site.
Our destination today is Hungary, where SK On's first electric vehicle (EV) battery production plant in Europe is located. The annual production scale is 7.5 GWh, enough to supply batteries to 120,000 EVs!
Hungary is very advantageous in producing EV batteries in many ways, both geographically and economically! With these advantages, SK On Hungary is showing passion to actively communicate both internally and externally and cooperate with the local community for further development.
Also we heard that the culture of Hungary is very similar to the culture of Korea in terms of language and food culture. They write their names starting with last name and then first, just like Korea! Furthermore, they love spicy taste and pork belly just like Korea! Isn’t it amazing?
