I recently started trying out watercolours, and they really made me appreciate Shibasaki even more. Watercolour is very hard for me, but Shibasaki makes it look so easy and amazing! A true master

I had taken acrylic painting in art college but the more I learn of the techniques of watercolor from you the more I prefer watercolors. It resonates with my style and feels more free. It reminds me of the times I would do art with my own Ojiichan growing up. Arigato gozaimasu Shibasaki-ojiichan for instilling that love of watercolor and this historic piece. (^o^) Love this landscape series.

The beauty of this place seems timeless, the staircase that leads to the temple so high perched, seems an "initiatory" place... This watercolor is rich in colors with earthy shades that express strength and harmony. It is a landscape of great beauty that arouses emotion. A nice discovery. Thank you Mr Shibasaki.♥️🏆🎁♥️👩🎨

昨日、参拝してきました。腰が、膝が…。久しぶりに登ったので、体力落ちたのと、年齢を感じて帰ってきました。ここからの眺めは心が洗われるようで、絵画になるとその時の感覚がよりはっきりとよみがえる気がします。美しい一枚をありがとうございます。

I can only create tree's and more flat scenery with my watercolors so far. I think this has inspired me to try a building mixed into my landscapes! Love your channel Shibasaki-sama, please continue. Also your videos of other things you know how to create like Jam and Bamboo Shoots are something I look forward too.

水彩画は優しいですね💐柴崎先生が本気で何かの作品に取り掛かる時は、動画とは全く違う柴崎先生になってみえると思います。海外の風景を写真のように描く先生もいらっしゃいます。素人の私が生意気ですが　水彩画の方が難しく思います🙏それは同じ絵を描くことができないと思うのです。流れ変わる色を頭の中で想像して重ねる色を描き込んで　出逢う色を使い　作品を仕上げていく水彩画を極めた柴崎先生なら　満足感がひとしおでしょうね😸努力の賜物ですね💐いつも　ありがとうございます。

I've been here too, it's in the Yamagata district. It looks simple but it's honestly the most beautiful place I've even been to! The painting is very beautiful and reminds me of that feeling when i had there.. Thank you for posting this! 💜

Great! More Japanese landscapes are fine for me...i was lucky to visit Nihon 6x, and stayed in some very nice places, 'white bone' on sen, moto hakone, a tiny place near a 'singing bridge', where we visited a very small temple, of two parts; the 'new temple' was 800 years old, the 'original' temple was 1500 years old, and it was not a tourist place, it had almost no signs, or notices, just a small sign, and very worn stone steps up a hill...peaceful. Keep well, thank you for continuing to bring us your vision.
