▶Synopsis:
Gongsun Li, a beautiful commoner, has been studying Kung Fu from her grandfather alongside two senior apprentices ever since she was a little girl. During her youth, she saves a boy named Ying Zheng, who later becomes the King of Qin. Her world is turned upside down when war breaks out amongst the warring states and her grandfather is killed by the Qin army. As a result, Gongsun Li is forced to flee her hometown. Her longtime senior, Jing Kie, is then poisoned for attempting to protect her. In order to obtain the cure for Jing Ke, Gongsun Li chooses to marry the king, Ying Zheng, who is responsible for invading her nation and murdering her grandfather. Soon after, Gongsun Li discovers that she is pregnant with Jing Kie’s child. When Ying Zheng’s discovers Gongsun Li’s pregnancy, he comes to her aid by claiming that he is the father of the child, which deeply moves Gongsun Li. In order to ensure the safety of Gongsun Li and her child, Han Shen, Gongsun Li’s other senior, chooses to become an imperial bodyguard in the palace. Faced with the dangers and perils of life in the palace, Gongsun Li develops into a strong woman and eventually earns people’s respect through her wisdom and kindness.

He' s a fool for loving the wrong girl, she self righteous and felt in love with the Enemy a person that doesn't no how to love, but women does that kinda crap always falling for someone for the wrong reason. She really didn't love her real baby daddy but use him for the reason to go back to that nut case and lie to him about baby than use the other fool love to help her lie to him because she new how he felt about her and he X his brother out because he wants to be with her and he will agree to anything she say, in reality she injoying her self and not thinking about ether one because she doing herself a man need to stop being so week over a pretty face

When Han Shen said to Jing Ke " I thought you'll be touched when you know about Li er and Tian Ming" 🥺🥺. It's the second time I'm truly disappointed with Jing Ke's decision. The first one when Li er told him that maybe they could be just an ordinary couple. And then this scene. Maybe Jing Ke isn't that deep for Li er.

I can't really explain the kind of love Madam Li has for her Jing Ke, yes she loves him and he is in her heart, but she loves the king more than him, after coming close to the king and know's him and what he faces sometimes, he now understand him and that made her to love him even more knowing that she has to be with him to help him in every thing/situation he might face/find himself

My first time watching this drama! I was accidentally knowing the ending long ago, but now i feel like i want to watch it because I love Dilraba & Zhang Bin so much! I really like how the story goes, because yes, real life is not as sweet as candy, its mostly bitter, & as a king, Ying Zheng acts as what a king should be; cold blooded, tyrant, distrust everyone, but weak to a woman he loves, & in the end still choose his title over the woman, because he has responsibility to his country! Madam Li is righteous woman but often do silly decisions that dangered herself, but her love towards the king is pure,, The king is lucky to have her, if only he trusts her 100% 🥲 Jing Ke is my least fav 2nd male lead, I dont find his sincerity towards Madam Li, and he's just a reckless man! Last but not least, Han Shen is the scene stealer! (I bet 90% of the audiences fall in love with his character!) He's the true male lead character, the only man I have fallen hard for his character! He deserves the world 🥲❤️ There's no third male lead that sways my heart as hard as his! He's the most sincere man ever, but I do understand madam Li's foolishness for not choosing him over others, coz yeah, irl, women often fall for stupid jerk men but ignore the right man beside her! But still, I support Madam Li & Ying Zheng love story because its a sweet, sour, bitter love story but yeah, It's real love (destiny)! I enjoy this series so much, its toward the end episodes, I know it will be sad ending but I'm already prepared!

Han Shen to Jing Ke, Indeed you would never be able to repay her. Man Han Shen is the real Man here. Another, "Destiny, it's her destiny to die because of your stubbornness and crown Prince Yan dan. Hats off to the writer giving these amazing lines to Han Shen. His character is stronger then both the male leads.

the love that madam li has for jing ke is different from the love that she has for the king. for her, jing ke will always have her heart in this lifetime. yet she also love the king in another way.

It is more responsibility of Li now than love, just like when she saved him at their childhood. She was older than the King, there she had a sense of protecting him, care to him, guide him, even sacrifice for him. Tbh the King's case was similar to Tian ming (Tian Ming's real father was Jing ke, but his mom was forced as the King's concubine when she was pregnant). The King was also like that ( his father was Li bu wei but his mom was the wife of his father King). Such complicated heritage though.

Jing ke's role in this movie I hate from an ordinary humble person to a villain, murderer. Who kills for no reason one's your love decided to leave you and she use to love you a lot there must be a reason. Because of her love, she gave her virginity to Jing ke that they had Tia ming. Enough Love 💕😘

I love this story so much just in love, the acting is superb, the leads are heavenly, the entire cast and directing and story telling is just amazing, not all stories have a happy ending but the way the story is told is just spell binding. It is a beautiful story that just catches the heart, that is why we all are here

I understand Jing Ke's plan but after all those words from Han Shen he still dont understand to retreat and forget to revenge. He needs to sacrifice his revenge and understand the safety of Li'er and Tian Ming.

Kinda think ...Ke Jing is losing plot. Sure King stole your girl but shouldnt he get over it. At least be happy that shes happy. ..and know that being the person she is, that she can potentially CHANGE the tyrant?! Its that bitterness inside him, it cant subside ...how does chopping off one dude's head count for righteousness?! And if we explore the bigger context and as Madam Li is finding out. .King is way he is from all the BS, traumas, betrayals, lies etc that he has had to endure. Jing and Han havent experienced shiz like that. ..however, it is possible to work together to change and help him become a BETTER King ...cos even if he gets assassinated, the next person on the throne wont be an Angel. Even the Crown Prince looks like hes just as schemer. ..🤷🏽‍♀️

Not being able to forgive, will only give misery, and we need Jesus to help us be able to forgive. Revenge and killing is the system of Kaïn, who killed for power and take out of the way that stands in the way of us, receiving favour. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life . No person will come to the father, than through Jesus.

Broooo Lan Er just needs to take a NEXT. If I was Jing ...and I just found out Tian was my real son and from what Madam Li told him that she's been treated well. ..Ill let King live. .theres a high chance that his son will become Crown Prince of Qin ..but he'll rather sacrifice it for Prince of Yan and the old man? What an idiot ..even Han understands ...and is gona die a single lad cos of his dedication for Madam Li. 😡🤬 I'm so angry. She should've left punk a** Dan where he was. I understand Li's chivalry but you shouldn't try to read someone's mind and do what you think that they should've done. I know she did it trying to help or save him from himself (the king). And what has Dan done throughout the film but contemplate, pose, look charming, walk around and mostly be ineffectual. His world crumbled when he saw the generals head. I want to slap Junior. Everybody is jealous of each other. I am so worried about the King, Li'er, and especially baby Ming.

Everyone is just blaming Jing ke but not trying to understand his side. He had already given words to the Crown prince of Yan. General Fan gave his life ( feeling his has worth ) for the assassination of King of Qin. Jing Ke had to take General Fan's life. Jing ke has a responsibility as a human for giving value to General Fan's death. Jing Ke can't just go back on his words for Li Er and Tian Ming as he was never told the truth. In a way it's Li Er's fault for not telling him the truth. Jing ke was totally unaware of anything. Nobody told him the truth. He was just doing his duty and being chivalrous just like Li Er. If we see both Li Er and Jing ke helped the Crown Prince escape. Li Er was being chivalrous and so is Jing ke !!!!

After hearing Han Shen, i really disrespect Jing Ke!! It is so truth, He is so selfish!!! He never, ever appreciates all the things that Li Er done for him. Shre sacrifice is a waste!!!! He is worst then the King!!!! The King behavior due to his childhood. He did not choose to be!!! What have Jing Ke done so far????? Nothing but himself. He never knows how to Love nor care about others!!!!!!! My poor Li Er. What kind of life you have????? You have 3 men's around you but none of them really care about you.
