Engine Management Electrical and Electronic Component Locations 2012-2018 Ford Focus

In this video I go over the locations of several engine management electrical and electronic components. These components located are the electronic throttle body, the mass air flow sensor, the oil pressure switch, knock sensors 1 & 2, fuel rail pressure sensor, fuel injectors 1-4, vct solenoids 1 & 2, ignition coils 1-4, cylinder head temperature sensor, camshaft position sensor, evaperative emissions canister purge valve, high pressure fuel injection pump, engine coolant temperature sensor, fuel line pressure sensor, O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2, and the crankshaft position sensor.

Thank you so much for these videos on the Ford Focus, the Duratech 2.0 litre engine and the twin clutch transmission. I live in Australia and recently purchased a 2013 Ford Focus. Am very impressed with the car, despite the well publicised issue(s) with the auto transmission. Mine has done 48,000 kms (30,000 miles) and drives quite smoothly. You are absolutely correct about that Duratech 2.0 engine, stamp on the throttle and the thing really comes alive! The engine loves to rev. Oh, and the brakes are superb 👌

I really do think it's a fantastic vehicle. A little shudder doesn't really bother me

Any thoughts on the long-term reliability of this engine?How does it compare to a high production engine of a Chevy or a Toyota?

My thoughts are that this engine is bullet proof. I have yet to see one go bad or have anything significant fail in them. GREAT ENGINE! great fuel economy! Doesn't lack on power either. I love the Ford 2.0L duratec

Hi I was wondering if you could give me better insight of my issue with my 2012 ford fiesta se. First off the vehicle has a mind of its own and starts when it wants to and i will work for a couple of days. When the vehicle is parked afterwards it will not start. I have already tried to troubleshoot it myself. I started off with checking the battery grounds for corrosion and loose wires, checked the battery life in general its good. Then i moved on to checking the starter and i replaced it in all hopes that it would work. NOPE FAILED lol, I continued to the ignition switch and replaced it and another HARD NO!!! I even checked all fuses and relays inside and out and agian NO. Finally I had the car put on a scanner and these are the codes that follow... P0805 , Clutch A and B What would you suggest that I do now ? Should i just burn it LOL jk!! Thanks cant wait to hear back from you, your time is APPRECIATED it.

Not equipped. This engine has a MAF sensor.

What kind of problem are you having? The answer to the question depends on that.

@@BarboursAutoHelpMy speedometer is not working although the odometer and trip meter do work, the transmission seems to shift more or less as it did before Would the output speed sensor be the most likely cause or there is another possibility?

Do you mind sharing what was your problem and if you managed to solve it with the speed sensor?
