It is 1976, at the height of the Cold War. You have been tasked with the construction and management of a deep-sea research facility and team deep on the ocean floor.
Your mission: to perfect and weaponize human cloning using the various biological wonders of the ocean.
Your challenge: to survive in the oppressive abyss long enough to complete your mission while something sinister lurks in the shadows beyond the perimeter for your facility.

You can tell an architect designed those structures because animals in dark places like the abyss of the ocean are attracted by light so what do they do put as many powerful lights on the outside of the structures as possible lmao.

I just want to majorly shout out to your editors! They add so much detail to the videos that don't just make the video more entertaining, they make me feel like I am experiencing the game as Matt does. The close calls, the jokes, the true engineering ideas (and sometimes the architect level ideas tbh), I feel like I experienced these as RCE experienced them.

being that rapture is like an early/mid 1900's new york style city under water, mostly skyscrapers and such (or being they are under water is it more accurate to call them surfacescrapers?) it wouldnt really work if every single function building was massive. could open up possibilities such as combining simtower elements where you place a skyscraper and then you construct the interior floor by floor like in simtower.

Matt, if the event ever rose, the "enemy" could easily map your base.. the entire thing is lit up, after all.. whether visually or with sonar, you aren't fooling them.. if the game allowed you to tunnel into the ground, and expand that way, then it would be an entirely different story. Bless your soul though hahaha I really can't blame you for trying. A+ for effort! :D
