Does anybody know how they unlock the engineering mode feature in xentry? I went to my local Mercedes Dealer and he tried to unlock the engineering menu via centrum, but be couldnt figure out how...

Hei Geir; har du gjort noe annet før du trykker og holder i 10 sek. på Settings? Jeg så ett eller annet på nettet om at Engineering mode standard kommer deaktivert, og at man må gjøre noe for å aktivere det, for å så kunne komme inn i engineering mode.

froskus Jeg har ikke gjort noe i forkant, men jeg testet på en annen bil og det fungerte ikke, men man kan visst endre det via odb2.

I found that how u enter dealer menu, by pressing the same button on the vehicle imagine not the system one.

Not working in my E220 2017.years.I had pushed general button 10 sec. On system mode,but program didnt work anything.

@@_733t I have 2017 w213 e300 and I have video in motion. I can watch videos while driving. You download videos music or movie to flash drive. In the arm rest you plug in your flash drive. Then go to media an select your flash drive. Now you can watch / play video while the car is in park. You can also go to media / options then zoom in video so it plays full screen. Now in order to play video in motion “this means watching videos while driving” you need to go to Ebay an buy a plug in for like $80 bucks. They will mail it to you. You simply plug it in once for 3 seconds and it unlocks video in motion. It’s so worth it and what I did was go to KZfaq an download all the music videos in 1080 or 4K to my flash drive an now I can watch the videos ans the quality is unreal. It’s like 4K it will blow your mind. Best mod I have done to my e class ans I have spent like $18k in mods. You need help hit me up

I can enter dealer mode, but not engineering mode. I was hoping to enable the Rear View Camera (RVC) without the need to add a video controller module. Thanks

on a Mercedes w213 2019, it is impossible to enter the engineering menu like that, maybe you need to press an additional button who knows? (the text was translated through a translator)

I can't find my settings on the menu to assist me to get to the engineering mode. Mine is the German type E200 2016/17 model. Please assist me if there's something I have to do

Engineering mode is locked by default b’cos it is not meant for users (has lots of settings that can do serious damage if manipulated the wrong way). It needs to be unlocked by MB first to enable user access in the manner shown in this video. Even many dealerships don’t know it exists 😆

men this does not work, you need to first enable vi OBD using Xentry or other mercedes scanner for this to work

You need to have Command in your MB not audio 20. That WHO irs not Worning.

Engineering mode must first be enabled via DTS Monaco or Vediamo, this is the missing piece of info. If you are in London, UK, I can do it for you...

I'm really not sure, too bad, because all the "good stuff" are in "Engineering mode" I am also able to turn on "Video in Motion",

maaan how incredibly creepy those mercedes benz head units are it's just abnormal... my s class 2015 have no internet connection via 3g nor via my shared hotspot via mobile WIFI
