@@saldirays I went to the Mercedes garage and they replacement the button unit. It is a unit with several buttons. They told me that it is a common issue with newer Mercedes cars. So you have to replace the button unit, it should also be programmed/ coded.

Engineering mode must first be enabled via DTS Monaco or Vediamo, this is the missing piece of info. If you are in London, UK, I can do it for you...

Hey there. You forgot one SMALL detail. The dealer has to activate developer remote first. You should note this on your post and not waist people's time

IF YOU CANT OPEN THE MIRRORLINK THEN THE CAR IS NOT EQUIPED WITH MIRRORLINK IT IS AN OPTION WHEN YOU BUY THE CAR AS NEW. THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS ON KZfaq WITH OBD DEVICES BUT DONT TRY IT YET

Engineering mode is locked by default b’cos it is not meant for users (has lots of settings that can do serious damage if manipulated the wrong way). It needs to be unlocked by MB first to enable user access in the manner shown in this video. Even many dealerships don’t know it exists 😆
