It was estimated Alan Ball ran 18 miles that day. I was seven years old at the time. I thought they would win it every year subsequent!. I had the honour to meet Bobby Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Alan Ball in later life. They were giants, had real jobs before football and were double hard bastards. Today's over paid, used to work in McDonalds, lucky if you got a chance in the league due to all the foreign stars will never make it. They folded to Croatia. Nobby Stiles would have put the croats in hospital.

I came to watch this video because of a Maradona responde to an England reporter, who asked him about his gol whit the hand, and Maradon respond that England won whit a non gol anda i think he is right, But thats part of the history of football

Maradona also score after the goal whit the hand, but in a Word cup, when You need to score a gol, You should attack therefore the defense is weaker. I think this is my predictions: 1.England Men will win Euro 2024 and 2026 World Cup. 2.England Women (Lionesses) will win 2023 World Cup (They failed to did so). 3.The 2024 Champions League Final will be an all-English Final at Wembley.

@@jimwatson3382 Yes - the ball was just over the line and it was known back then, but you have to see the high definition movie film from ground level looking straight along the line and not from an angle, which does exist but has rarely been shown in documentaries. You cannot make a decision based on the fuzzy black and white TV pictures that are always shown, as the image is just not clear enough.

And an argument could be made that the ball brushed Weber's elbow before he scored - Gordon Banks was clearly gesticulating that had happened. It was certainly a close contest, but all things considered, I don't think Germany was robbed.
