It appears that Sammy and Powell have their playing 11 since b4 the World Cup started so even though there are 15 players ,they keep going with the same set even though sometimes changes were needed . Shepherd definitely needs to rest and I would give Charles a rest too …Shepherd keep doing bad in depth over and Powell keep putting him so is bad captaincy .I don’t have faith in Shepherd bowling those depth over so for me Hope for Charles , Mc coy for Shepherd and maybe Hetmyer for Knig if King is still injure .

I do not think Sammy was outcoached. Our guys seemed absent. Also, our players need to learn to be flexible. Pooran faced the entire over from archer bowling full balls to him and he kept missing them while batting almost completely inside of his crease. Maybe take one step forward and meet the ball more on the full. The more the ball stays in the air, the bigger the angle of swing. Our bowlers, while getting punished, didnt try a different angle from over or around the wicket. Even for one or two balls I would bring in a man short or silly position just to unsettle the batsman. We are not creative at all.

As I have stated before, West Indies were too predictable! Common sense dictated that Shepherd should have been rest after his return because he had to be psychologically and physically drained!

WI selection policy against AFG was mindless. Failure to use that opportunity and give game time to bench players in a dead rubber was unwise. Doing so would have been useful for selection in the upcoming matches. Now, it's a risk introducing new players in the XI in a must win situation

Pooran didn’t had a good innings at all, lots of Dot Deliveries and after that his motivation was not there as a wicket keeper hence the dropped catches! I think Archer worked him over with those deliveries outside off because he showed his frustration during the innings

I think Alzarri is over worked. He is not a machine. He should have been rested for at least one match. In the meantime constructive criticism is better than hurtful comments. I do not know these young men personally but i am sure they do read thede comments and it can have an effect on their performance. This is my opinion ok?

Alzarri joseph is not a t20 bowler he is more suited for odi ...he bowl short most of the time. If he plays the next match I am done watching the world cup. 😄

What is the status on king?

Too many dot balls absorbed by WI bottom line. WI bowlers were under pressure from the beginning. Shepard’s inclusion over McCoy was a surprise because I thought McCoy’s variation suited the match. It’s unfair to be bashing Shepard at this point. All players need us in their corner during their ups and downs.
