Twenty years after they led England to victory, members of the 2003 winning men's rugby team are reuniting for ITV’s newest documentary series; ‘Grand Slammers’. The show sees the rugby legends enter the confines of HMP The Mount prison with one aim, to build and train a team of inmates capable of rivalling the formidable Australian team. Ahead of the show's release, former players Martin Johnson and Lawrence Dallaglio join us in the studio to tell us about the reunion, why they think sport is good for prisoners and whether we can expect an England win for the 2023 world cup.

It’s not often I go out of my way to watch a programme but I did this n I wasn’t disappointed. Fantastic programme

I think what Lawrence, Martin and the lads have done is absolutely brilliant. They are giving the guys in prison hope for the future and teaching them not just sport but also life skills like discipline, perseverance, fair play and sportsmanship. The prisoners loved the fact that somebody actually showed interest in them and believed they could do something positive and productive in their lives and it meant the world to them.

it is brilliant, sorry but had to mute holly's innane comments. i am welsh, quite a few school boy caps in our house, my mother was forced to watch but was in tears. the rugby players were motivating and sensational. what a concept, and only wish them all, prisoners firstly the best.
