Hey Dik, great to hear from you as always! I was working there actually. Haggis was brilliant, so much better than I expected. I actually managed to try it on burns night in Guernsey earlier this year courtesy of a friend. Yes you can use Scottish notes in Guernsey! Well, at least in the de la rue when I lent my mate some cash the other day! Your German and Flemish speaking Turkish fellow reminds me of my own Dutch lessons a few years ago... The teacher shouting "nee Lloyd, dit is Monchengladbach !" down the microphone at me over zoom during covid! I miss Brussels a bit... Mainly my friends who coincidentally I used to watch the formula one with at the wild Geese pub on a Sunday, and a few others. But I feel much better no longer living in a big city, even if the relative isolation of Guernsey brings its own charming challenges. How are you doing?

@@helloantoniotraveladventures I'm doing well thanks, enjoying the last days of summer with comfortable temperatures of around 28 degrees. July and August were rather too hot at times. One day I experienced 40 degrees for the first time in my life, that was unbelievable!

@DikWhite doesn't sound confortable at all, forty degrees!
