Don't fool people with positive experiences. It is low chance and difficult to find a job in Germany with B2 German not saying with English alone. It is possible in some fields like IT though. Additionally, the German hiring mentality is not flexible when it comes to your experience abroad; especially in the Building sector for example. Please be real guys.

Don't look at the shinny numbers. Right now there are layoffs all around, competition is very high and it is crazy impossible to find a job in tech as a senior engineer let alone a junior one. Most expats are crazy scared/hectic for being let go. I hope there will be also some videos about the dark side of the tech jobs especially for the people who does not hold permanent residence or German citizenship

Learning german open your doors. I get recruiters and interviews only in german, like they write me every day, if i was just able to speak english maybe only 30% recruiters would contact me. And you dont need to speak perfect, i speak with many errors and write incorrect and they still are interested. They are ok if you can communicate in an advance level, must not be perfect.

No, they don’t pay you less, the payment is Germany is standardized by the union based on titles and expirience. And the range salary is public you can see how much your pairs are making and ask why. To get a Job visa you have to make the same salary as your German pairs bspw. If they make 3000€ you have to make as much to get your working visa

Seriously getting a job in German has struck hard on me .. Also, what does "latest tech stack" even mean? 😂 Does it even have any demand in the job market? Most of the core tech is still traditionally the same old with Python, Java, C++, Javascript. Do you have all the complimentary skills as well that are mentioned in those job descriptions? Frankly, your whining seems to be fake.

@@moniho6907 The average German buys a house to live in it for his entire life, and then pass it on to their children. They have a very different mind set than Americans. The American buys a house as a stepping stone to something bigger. So it seems to me the average German is more family orientated whereas the American is more money orientated. I definitely prefer the German way of life.

To fully understand the German mind set in terms of lifestyle you have to actually live over there for some time to understand their way of life. Then it will make sense to you why they are happy with one house only.

@@shaclo1512 Munich is one of cities that I'm targeting in my job search, and even though there are a lot of international companies there, about 90% of the jobs I find require not just "ok" German, but "fluent" German. However, I'm a Business Analyst, so again, maybe if I had a different profession, German wouldn't matter as much? And year, I'm sure it would be even more difficult to find English speaking jobs in rural areas.
