Enemy can just flank the stakes.. and the damage is not that huge either while the longbow must stay close and be a easier micro to flank.

it is about cost effectiveness so even 3/4 spearmen trading with 1/2 knights is worth it all the time not to mention knights cost gold which is harder to come by then wood/food

I think it’s because villagers can’t get any wood before cutting down the tree… I don’t know 😃

it take a decent amount of seconds to cut down a tree before it can be harvested

@@solspark166 A fat stack of cash. He's aware its a shit platform though, which is why we're seeing plenty of youtube stuff so I'm not bothered. Unless things drastically change on facebook gaming, he'll very likely just leave the platform when the contract is up and return to Twitch, or maybe stream on KZfaq. Happened recently with a few Age streamers, Vipey and t90 included.

A slight improvement to cav or archers would make a world of difference, I think. Just so that they can survive early game and go into late game deathballs.

Well Prelates for 1 actually working 100%, (there about 80) and personally I think they should get rid of the RUS warrior monks ability to carry relics just like the spanish in AOE2. I think one of the infantry techs is working properly as well. HRE is suppose to be defensive, so I don't really care for them getting an early aggression buff. But some sort of defensive buff to help defend against that early aggression would be nice. Needs some sort infantry defensive buff, infantry across the board is pretty weak for all CIVs, so HRE just get the shaft because that what they are suppose to excel in. The 3rd age is when they shine just a little. But drop off heavy in 4th age, especially if you were not able to secure enough relics or sacred sites.

In 2v2 its a good comp with english for an early rush. If you get them by suprise u can end the game pretty much in feudal with rams, a mix of infantry and english longbows

HRE MAA Feudal age rush is quite good already :)

The game has only been out for a couple weeks now, just try things out and lets see how things develop
