I love the way of pronouncing the words of English coaches very clearly while speaking super fast, including Anna. The faster they speak, the clearer their speech becomes . But for me, when I try to speak faster, my accent interferes, and in a way, my speech winds up being elusive. I only realize it when I listen to my own speech.

I loved this video. I found the answer for a couple of questions that were always beating around my head, and they were: Do native English speakers understand 100% what other natives say? And Do native English speakers understand 100% songs un English?. I feel so happy the answer for these questions was "no, they don't". Now I'm feeling more quiet and comfortable about my English skills especially at listening, because I'm always telling myself I won't become a fluent English speaker until I get every single word they say in daily conversation and songs!!!

I need english for my work and I've often conversations in english with my colleagues from UK and USA. For sure in the beginning I was afraid to speak wrong and make mistakes. But you know... I can speak and understand english. No matter good or not. My colleagues can't speak my language. Also, just start to speak. You are definitely not stupid. You can more. This feeling brings you forwards in your skills.

Btw, I do not watch or follow any English teaching youtube channels any more, coz I think that I should not feel like I am learning, which can make me under stress. I should make the process natural by watching the videos or channels that are among my hobbies. But I watch Anna, coz I feel like she is like one of us. She is not a native and was not born in English speaking country. She can understand our English learning process more than the others. That is my point!

you both are amazing, you both spoke understandable, clear pronunciation, and i think when people watch this content they will understand easily. After watching this content i have found out a lot of information about native speakers when they speak with non-native speaker like, one of the topics said that native speakers sometimes didn't realize that non native speakers make a mistake about pronunciation or grammar and it helps me to speak confidently. And also I like when kayla said "It is not reflection to ourselves when we don't speak fluently". This content has helped me as learner english language. And yeah thankyou for such a useful, helpful information, regards from indonesia 👋✋🔴⚪

Hi, Hannah! Thanks for the video, as always. For me, the sentence from the video that summarizes what you contribute with your work to most of your viewers is the following: 'I want to be the person that I wish I had had five years ago to help me get where I am now''. Hi Anne, you're living example for English learners. I live in Virgia, US, & very rarely I do get the chance to speak English with. It's unfortunate to live in an English speaking country where you don't have a chance to speak with anyone on a daily base unike when you learn different language & you visit the country everyone love to talk to you so this way you pick up the language very easy & fast.

If you going to spend 15 minutes a day on something you might as well not bother. I have always believed that if you want to be good at something you have to dedicate time to it maybe not 5 hrs a day but at least an hour a day. Anyone who has ever done something great whether playing at a concert in front millions or clearly articulating a complex subject has put in an enormous of time. If I told you I wanted to learn Math, learn to play the piano, learn to play chess, learn a programming language, learn to play football or learn journalism but I told you I was only willing to put in 10 to 15 minutes a day, you would actually laugh at me and probably think they going nowhere fast, so why do people believe they can learn a new language or acquire a new accent by only practicing 10 or 15 minutes a day, it would not work for any other discipline. Imagine Zac Efron just spending 15 minutes a day on his acting do you think he would be a great actor or would you trust a pilot if only practice flying for 15 minutes a day. What if schools only taught children the core related subjects for only 15 minutes, would you be happy that child education is good? Your child (10-18) will leave for school at 8am and return at 12pm because school was finished and teachers only taught them 10 minutes for each subject. The minimum you should practice a day is 1 hour and the maximum time depends on you but every day you should practice at least an hour. I know most people claim to not have an hour or can barely spare 30 mins and my response is when you are sitting in front of your computer just watching social media or endless Tik Tok videos, drinking in bar with your friends or colleagues you can use that time to practice. Kayla claim that as entrepreneur people don't have time but that is whole point of being an entrepreneur you create your own time. Most claim to have kids so they have no time, as a person who has a five years old and a six years old and is also an entrepreneur you can still practice an hour. When I practice my Spanish my kids are playing or watching cartoons and I sit across from them practicing my Spanish. Sometimes when they go to bed I use that time to practice longer.
