Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will - because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. As for communication skills I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process in English and other languages.😊😊

I will, I'm doing my best to speak better english. I can understand and write english, I also love watching tv shows and movies, listening to podcast and english songs. But everytime I speak, I'm struggling.

@@Nirnek it’s because you have to practice speaking more. Try to read or repeat things out loud. I know it feels weird to just talk to yourself or say things out loud in English, but the more you do it, the easier it will be. Also, finding a teacher or someone else to talk with is incredibly valuable! Sounds like you are on the right track!

@@englishwithkaylapatino yeah, That's what I'm doing lately, I speak a lot and read books or in social media out loud, though you're right, I'm practicing alone, I don't have someone to talk to or to practice with.

The method I use to practice English is I talk to myself a lot, and it becomes much easier when I have to communicate with people. The best part about this method is I get to use advanced words and phrases more, and I can retrieve them easily when I talk to people. It's all about practice and dedication.
