Although I don't understand English correctly, your review was very valid. At first, looking at the machine, it shows a certain fragility because its frames seem to be very thin, given the large size of the machine. What do you say about it? Another thing: Does this E40 laser cut materials well and is it superior to other lasers on other machines? Thanks

Hi. You wrote that it engraves at 3000/100, for me it begins to engrave the aluminum at 1200/100 and that pale color isn't black as black?

I bought Neje 3 max recently, neje contacted me to ask me if I m ok if they send me the E40 new module instead of the A40640. They said to me is better for engraving and cutting so I said Ok. As the E40 is new I don't find many review about it yet. I wonder if is really better and I started to worry about my choice until I saw your video. thank you. One question about engraving stainless steel: Did you use product or you can engrave it without some "spray masking for metal"?

when engraving, the height is set to 5 mm and when cutting 4 mm plywood, the height is set to 3 mm

I swapped my a40640 for the e40. What can I say, the e40 is worse or equal to the a40640. 4mm wood 5 passes 300mm/min and didn't get through

The E40 laser module is developed for long-term cutting and engraving, and I don't think the function is as powerful as the A40640. But its stability is good, and the laser spot is very small.

So just got my new Neje 3 Max with an e40 module and it does not cut anywhere near 18.4mm spruce wood in 3 passes at 100mm/100%. It cuts 7mm spruce in 6 passes at 100mm/100%! So what is the issue with it? It is focussed correctly and set up right. Have I got a faulty unit or has Neje given me a E40 with a 5 watt module inside? SOLVED: OK for anyone interested who has a similar issue this fixes the issue and it now burns through 7mm pine at 100mm/s at 100% power in 1 pass and so should be able to burn through 18mm pine in 3 passes. This is what I think is going on. It seems that the Neje firmware on the board maximum power setting has the PWM value of 255. But th default Laser Grbl Configuration $30 value spindle speed/power setting is 1000 so when LightBurn is set to 100% it uses the power setting of 255 which is about 25% of the 10W E40 module. After I changed the Laser Grbl Configuration $30 maximum spindle speed to 255 it burns through 7mm pine at 100mm/s at 100% power in 1 pass. Hope this helps.
