Probably the greatest movie music ever, and I'm a person that would argue John Williams as the greatest movie composer because he was so prolific and had scores nearly this good. But, for my money, these pieces are the greatest ever written for the silver screen.

There are not enough superlatives to describe just how beautiful and perfect this performance is. Suffice to say that of course this big old biker in his 60s cried his eyes out. Thank you so much for all your hours of dedication to make me feel connected to the wonderful music of Ennio Morricone.

Memory will not allow me to remember where I heard this song as a young girl. But I rediscovered it in my early 20s unintentionally (a CD someone gave me that I held on to for years had a cover of “E Piu Ti Penso” on it). In the first few seconds, my vision blurred and tears filled my eyes. A long lost love was met again. Such a beautiful yet haunting piece - I’m filled with joy and sadness each time I hear this. This has to be one of my all time favorite songs. Ennio Morricone knows how to capture emotion well, too well. Thank you for your wonderful tribute to a magnificent composer. I hold my breath with each pause and can never listen only once 🤍
